A BETA for the multiplayer component to LittleBigPlanet is planned to drop this month. The BETA will focus heavily on the uploading, downloading, and sharing of content between users in order to stress test the system.
If you are one of the many interested in testing out the game prior to its release, more details will be forthcoming.

There will be a limited public beta test for LittleBigPlanet in September. If it will be possible to "sign up" for this test, full information on how to do so will be made public in advance of the test. Similarly if the test is going to be conducted in an invitation-only we will let you know ahead of time.
