Microsoft will soon slash prices on their various Xbox 360 SKU's in Japan, making at least one bundle cheaper than a Wii! The various SKU's will see around a 30% reduction in price.
This brings the Arcade bundle down to $183 (USD), a reduction of nearly $74 off of its old price. To compare, the Wii is currently $231 in Japan, while the PlayStation 3 is sitting around $368.
Reuters also reports that the Premium and Elite bundles will see a reduction in price of between 5,000 ($46) and 8,000 ($74) yen. No additional details are currently known at this time.
