Dead Space Releasing Early on PS3 and 360

This is the rarest of sights in the gaming industry in this day and age. Dead Space is on track to be released a week earlier than previously expected!

Previously set for an October 31 release, EA has announced that the game will be out on October 24 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 systems. Sadly, the PC version is still set to be released on October 31.

This currently also applies only to the European version of the game. There's been no word yet on whether or not the early launch will also apply to the North American market.

Of course, by making this announcement, EA has probably just cursed themselves which will result in some sort of issue coming up that will now delay the game.

Or it was on track for the 24th from the beginning, they put up the 31st as a buffer or a "just in case" and it's actually on schedule now and they pulled out the "we're ahead of schedule" card?

Either way, I can't wait for this game.
