Xbox 360 Sells out in Japan, No Restock until September

Retailers in Japan have apparently run out of their supply of Xbox 360 systems and don't expect any more to come in until September!

This comes after a report that 360 sales in Japan were on the rise after the release of Tales of Vesperia from Namco Bandai.
"Currently, the Xbox 360 is sold out, and retailers are unable to restock their supply," reads a statement from the company, translated by Kotaku.

"This is a result of our own sales targets being exceeded by the actual customer sales. We deeply apologise for this inconvenience to our customers, retailers and business partners.

"Here at Microsoft, we are moving forward quickly with console production, and plan to ship the standard Xbox 360 model out this September. Furthermore, we will sequentially be shipping out the Elite and the Arcade models. We ask that you please patiently wait until the console is shipped," added the company.
Just as soon as Microsoft starts to get an edge in the region, they up and run out of stock! I'm sure that fortunate gamers may be able to find a stray Xbox 360 somewhere in the entire country. Happy hunting!
