Microsoft Hints at Time Frame for GTA IV DLC News

Microsoft snuck in a little note about when gamers should expect to see the first news on the downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV. This note came at the end of a press release detailing the Holiday 2008 lineup for the Xbox 360.

Hidden at the end of a press release for Microsoft's impressive holiday line-up is word that there'll be news on the GTA IV DLC this autumn. That's 'news' and not a release date.

Whether that means we can expect a release around then or later in the year (dare we mention '09?) we still don't know.

Microsoft says: "In autumn there will be news from Liberty City; the first episodes of GTA IV will be available for download exclusively on Xbox Live, underlining Xbox 360's leadership role in the field of digital entertainment."

Yes, news on an update. The wording it a little on the "huh?" side of things but hopefully this actually means we'll see a release of some DLC come this Fall.

Time will tell.

i thought this was common knowledge when it was released? i clearly remember listening to the review on it and he said the DLC had been provisionally set for the last quarter.
it'll have to be some damn good content to get me playing it again thats for sure.
