An announcement about the date for the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo have trickled out to a few sites. If you couldn't tell by the headline here, the date set for the demo is August 21st.
The demo will be for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 and should come out at the same time for both systems. The full version of The Force Unleashed is set to be released on the PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, N-Gage, DS, PSP, and the iPhone during the month of September.
Lucasarts rattled our mailbox this morning to let us know that, starting Thursday, you'll be able to download a demo for their upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It'll be one level - a Tie Fighter construction facility - and will involve some kind of Jedi general and a whole big, Corellian ship's load of fighting.
