The Project Reality mod team has posted up a new update today detailing an upcoming LAN party they will be holding in the UK. Take a look:

Ever wanted to take on the Project Reality developers in person? Ever wanted to buy them a beer and thank them for their work? Or just see who's behind the tags? Well, here's your chance!

Project Reality is proud to announce the first official PR LAN party in the UK, 13th/14th September 2008! The event, organized by our very own [R-DEV]UK_Force and [R-DEV]Undies, will take place in the Armour Center in Bovington, which is the home of the Royal Armoured Corps.

This unique location not only provides the LAN cabling, power, screens and seating needed for proper gaming, but also gives you the possibility to get a DEV-guided tour through the tank museum!

Play Project Reality at it's best, have beer and BBQ, chat with the DEVs and enjoy your time!

TotalBF2 should post some of the Dev Journals from PR as mod news. There is so much stuff being demoed as new 0.8 features.

I would rather our Journals didn't get posted on the main TBF2 news since a bunch of them are jokes and are not meant for a front page news item, they normally get included in a main news piece later on anyways which is laid out better etc.

Should make sure all the BF news sites know that then since there are other sites that post your journals as main page news. But I've had the PR team tell me not to post them before so I haven't really in the past, unless of course other news sites post it, then I just go ahead as well.

Well, there is a always a link to their site in news posts for people to check :p
