New Screenshots for Cities XL

Developer Monte Cristo is working hard with their upcoming city simulator and has today released a couple of new panoramic screenshots, showing off the true scale of the game.

To see the other two screenshots released today and a lot of older ones, you can visit the Cities XL Official Site.

The game is set to release in the 3rd of September in French and German languages, the release date for the English version is still unknown.

Since EA destroyed the SimCity franchise, I've been eagerly awaiting the release of this game. Looks really nice!

Purty. I've never been what one would consider to be a graphics whore, but dayum this game looks nice.

However, my graphics card is giving me dirty looks right now as if to say, 'Don't even think about it...' :p

They are catering to a rather large usebase with older computers so the specs shouldn't be too high... but you never know, maybe they've scaled the game well to look excellent on new hardware and still run great on older

Give SimCity on ipodtouch/iphone a try. It is SimCity 3000 and is amazing.
