Rumor: Left 4 Dead on the PS3 After All?

Despite statements saying that there would not be any Left 4 Dead on the PS3, a new comment in the latest OPM issue has started those rumor mills turning once more.

The picture above (via Worthplaying) states that Left 4 Dead is in production for the PS3, and EA will be the ones leading the development.

Fact? Fiction? I have an email sent in to Valve's Doug Lombardi to hopefully clear up any confusion over this matter. If we hear back, I'll be sure and let you know.

Yes.

Valve already said they won't develop for the PS3 and that it'd be up to another to step in and say "hey, we'll do it."

This is why they only talk about the Xbox 360 getting the TF2 updates, and why they only talk about the Xbox 360 getting Portal: Still Alive, and why they talk about the 360 only getting Left 4 Dead.

Valve wont do it, that doesn't necessarily mean they wont toss it over to EA to do another terrible port

For the record their are pre-order SKUs for the PS3 as well....
