DICE has released an update today regarding the new "Weekend Beta Key Tournaments". It allows players already in the beta to win 5 keys for their friends by playing over a tournament weekend. It will allow more and more players to join the beta before the game goes gold. Log into your beta web account for more details. Here is what Goodman, the community manger had to say:

Hello soldier! We would like you to know that we just updated Battlefield Heroes again. More details on that, you will find here.
Most importantly: players were experiencing an issue with spawning* into the game after several rounds. This issue has now been resolved.
*coming back to life, to continue playing, after someone’s rudely killed you; some people are so inconsiderate that way…
