Try first with antialising and Texture Filtering, if still is not good try with Dynamic Shadows and Dynamic Lightnings

What do you mean by "notepad videocard", and why is that so hard to believe? I run many other games at max settings too. It's a decent card.

I'll try turning some settings down though. What would you recommend I start with?

Well, with any mod you are going to find that things perform just a TINY bit different than BF2. The way that the majority of BF2 modding works is that you load some BF2 content AND the mod content.

I would say the weak point in your machine is probably the videocard. Thats a notepad videocard isnt it? I can't believe you can run that high all the time without seeing issues in BF2. Probably be best to turn it down a touch for POE. Simple enough to make a new user with slightly different video settings.

    Good luck :)

    Athlon X2 4200
    Radeon X1600
    2 GB RAM
    Windows XP

I always run Battlefield 2 on all high settings (never use AA though, don't care for it) with no problems. I know I have the latest driver for my graphics card, too.

I hadn't heard any comments about GreenAcres having any issues with lag. What sort of system do you have and what kind of settings are you using?

Anyone else getting slowdown on Green Acres? I think it might be the bushes or ferns, but I'm not sure. It's enough slowdown to keep me from flying.

Probably the same as Filefront; the 2nd download was also corrupt and byte for byte identical with the first. Maybe I'll try to set up a torrent client.

I DLed the incremental 2.5 patch from Filefront earlier today at 200KB/sec but it was corrupt; I'm trying again now.
