Invisible Wall Phenomenon Explained!

Okay, we all know about the invisible wall on Dragon Valley just north of docks. And I'm sure most of you guys have collided with it while in a jet or chopper. I've heard people say it was a building collision mesh, but that never seemed right to me. I tried to land a chopper on it, but it would always blow up; dropped jeeps had the same result. Splies would just sink into it real slow. So there's only one conclusion: It's water! An invisible wall of water. Look!





This is on a ranked server (without players). For some reason (server files vs. client?) this doesn't seem to work on a local game. Works with a boat too.

Maybe this is old news, but damn it's funny!

As a ground pounder I’ve never come across it before, So how do you get an APC up there in the first place, do you just drive it there?

lolwut?... He was talking about a mod which would make it possible to put the APC upon the invisible wall :)

Just drive an apc or boat north out of bounds. Seems to be 1 whole map square. It's not a mod, that's a ranked server.

damn, I'm surprised no one has taken advantage of this before.. Though I guess an APC in the middle of the sky would be pretty vulnerable.
