  • Call of Duty 4 v1.7 Patch Released

Infinity Ward has released the newest patch today for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, bringing the game to v1.7. Please note that this is an incremental patch and you will need to first have the v1.6 patch installed. Here is the change log:
    • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.
    • Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.
    • Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.

Be sure to post your feedback on this newest patch right here in this thread.

I guess it goes without saying that those simians haven't fixed the weapon typos yet?

They probably won't bother fixing weapon typos - since 1) mods fix them and 2) alot of people are already used to playing with them but I do agree they really should fix them all... and you can't really say that you benefit using a g3 silencer and knifing someone is good, since you have to prefire it -.-

When are the servers going to update?

Just installed patch, and there seems to be no servers online running it.

heh, you shoulda bought a server off MyIS

All MyIS servers have 1.7 'server files' patch available to install through the SCI server control website.
