yeah I have some sort of error every time I try to connect to a server. Something about code_fx_gfx.ff.mp or some crap like that. Can't get it exactly but I hope someone knows what I mean.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!!!

EDIT: The error says "code_post_gfx_mp.ff is different from the server"

How can I fix this problem? I mean, all I did was install the 1.7 patch and suddenly I can't play?

I think this was a quick patch for fixing the exploit and a few severe bugs. There was a larger list of things back in 1.6.

When the v1.6 patch came out, IW stated that they would not be bringing the new killcams to PC because of the technical problems/bugs they were having with them. It was talked about in the News posts here.

A lot of the servers still aren't patched up to 1.7, just about all the servers in my favorites are still on 1.6

He was referring to the new killcams.

And good job to IW for fixing that mayor dvar exploit.

heh, you shoulda bought a server off MyIS

All MyIS servers have 1.7 'server files' patch available to install through the SCI server control website.

All our servers are run by MyIs And They rock, I get barely no lag even when im in the uk!
