I read the title. Did you read my post?

My point is that they're not making 5 games from scratch, there's only 3 games we haven't heard about. BF:BC is soon released and then they won't need as many people working on it. Same with BF:H, even if it's gonna take a while until it's released.

But the team is also at work on three other games based on the series, including a traditional core game aimed at consoles, and a new collaboration with Neowiz specifically for the Korean market.

So, BF:H and BF:BC + 3 other titles. Hopefully BF3.

Just because they're developing five titles, doesn't mean they're making them all at once. Surely, you can't be that naive. Sloi, you don't know what kind of scale the development is on. In fact, aside from a number we don't know anything about these titles so try not to get so worked up about it.

DICE has a lot more employees than any of you think.

Oh and when they say 5 titles, they mean BF:BC and BF:H as well. That makes it a total of 3 new games, and I doubt they're working on them all at once (but if they do, at least they have more than 5 people working on each game)

I wouldn't worry too much, yet. Even if they didn't officially announce BF3, I'm pretty sure we PC gamers will have something to be happy about as well.

We can always hope they do a good job, given that EA aquired Dice it would be a safe assumption they have a lot more personnel at their disposal (potentially)

I would bet a large amount of money that one of those is BF3, because lets face it, they will release a bf3

I can understand them making a more orthodox battlefield game for the consoles, see which is most successful

Lets face it, "Battlefield" has now become EA slang for "Any multiplayer game with guns".
Expect to see Battlefield 2009, 2010, 2011 etc., where the only difference is slight graphical changes.
If they had bought Valve we would now be playing Battlefield: Fortress.

If they're spreading themselves thin trying to make 5 games at once, you can bet your glutes we'll be dealing with a lot of bugs.

Oh, but don't worry... that's what patches are for! It's f*cking sad that people have gotten so used to them at this point.

Wow.... five?! That's insane. I know with EA as their owners they have a much more better chance at big money than other studios, but has their team really grown that much?

On another note, living in Maryland has its benefits of being surrounded by startup developers. I recently visited one studio and what they do, is outsource the more specialized sources to others, instead of having a (large) highly specialized and localized roster, that way the work load on everyone is cut vastly.

But anyway, maybe they're saving the PC news for E3 this year?!
