Great news, I just hope that it is for the better, and not for the worse, an open beta like many have said, does show that they are actually gonna put some time into this, just hope that everyone beta tests and reports bugs, so they don't shove it out the door, with bugs, and glitches in it..

I think the fact that Shanghi Showdown has been added to the stats site as an Armoured fury map suggests that the expansion packs, or at least Euro Forces and Armoured fury, will come as part of this patch

Lol, i can see them doing that to increase booster pack sales. They better or not otherwise i'm going to DICE with a letter bomb :yay:

Check out the BF2 EA stats site. Shanghai Showdown is at the bottom of the map list!

The open beta certainly sounds encouraging, I hope enough people test it in order for a buggy patch not to be released.
