Wow, new maps, this is awesome. I wonder if it'll be just be maps, or will they release a bug fix with it?

There will be a patch with it and the details of that patch will be sent out this week. Im sure there will be plenty of bug fixes with it.

How you do you know everything isn't going to be all wrapped up in one patch? Have some patience and wait and see.

How you do you know everything isn't going to be all wrapped up in one patch? Have some patience and wait and see.

In addition to the map pack hitting, PC Players will be receiving the 1.6 Patch for the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that will add support for the new maps

Hopefully 1.6 finally fixes that custom map dling issue and we could have our Friday night custom map night on the TGN server! :P

Keep in mind that other clans & servers are running their custom maps just fine, so they've obviously solved the looping download issue. If we really wanted to have the custom map server running, the server gurus from TGN could probably solve the problem fairly quickly by posting a few questions on the IW.com, FPSadmin.com, or RaidersMerciless.com forums where there are lots of experienced server admins.

But we've waited this long, so we might as well see what the patch brings first, then go from there.

Word! I actually play on a lot of custom map servers. Helps keep the game fresh. That's why I was confused when TGN's wasn't working b/c I wasn't even aware that anyone had difficulties with it or that there was an issue until I heard of the problem here. *fingers crossed* though. It'd be fun to game it up with some of the people you see here all of the time.
