Call of Duty 5 to be WWII?

COD3 failed, so i'm not optimistic for COD 5 if it is WW2 :/

I for 1 still like the WWII genre. I think it takes more skill to use older era weapons for the most part. (I'm referring to rifles)

Harder to get artillery strikes - ala CODUO and no heli's to kill you through a crack in the ceiling.

Im Happy Its coming out for PC, 3 reasons for my happyness its about time that us PC guys get the same attention that the console guys get. 2 I love CoD WWII, don't get my wrong 4 is the best game out there but if CoD:5's MP is anything like CoD:UO witch I say is still the best CoD MP to-date. Also CoD are the best made WWII games, And its going to be nice to have CoD WWII as a option if 1 day you want to take a break from Modern, CoD will have both why play any other FPS war game!

They did how ever do one thing right so far, They made CoD:UO. Which was a pretty damn good expansion.

Grey Matter made CoD:UO, the same guys who made the free mp game RTCW: Enemy Territory. :) They're great guys over there, and CoDUO was a GREAT game!

I love playing WWII games, CoD4 is the first modern game I actually like and have played for more than a month, GREAT game! Other modern games usually sit on my shelf after the first month. I do miss rifles, and I hate when reviewers are always saying WWII has been done so many times, do something different. Yet they don't complain every time a crap fantasy rpg comes out with mystical characters, yeah...those are original. Obviously by sales numbers, people like playing WWII fps and reviewers appear ignorant imo when they say that genre is overdone b/c look at other genres such as fantasy rpgs or horror games or future games, etc. Those have technically been overdone if you want to go by their logic. There are different genres for a reason, people like diff things. The genre doesn't survive or get very many new games if the people don't play that genre.

But hopefully CoD5 won't be a lame game and we all win by more fps war action. :) Custom content keeps coming for CoD4 so worst case scenario, we keep playing an amazing game called CoD4. :yay:

i would love to see a COD vietnam game. it would be better than WWII because it has been done to death and there arent nearly as many nam' games.
