Allied Intent Xtended Mod Update

There is a new update posted today over at the Allied Intent Xtended mod website. Here's what they had to say:

The team would like to proudly present our first video media release showcasing the awesome AV8b Harrier jump jet modelled and textured by clivewil. Also featured in the video is DasRoach's gorgeous map "Archipeligo." It is a great pleasure to share the work of these 2 gentlemen with you in moving pictures and getting to play with these guy's creations is all the inspiration needed to work on this mod. For an update on how testing is going, most of the bugs have been ironed out and the map list is complete. The 5 of us are really looking forward to getting what we feel is the best single player and coop mod for battlefield 2 out to everyone, with some very cool bot features you've never seen before and an excellent array of original content.

I just want to say that AIX is full of very helpful people. they have gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping people out on the BFSP and Editor forums.

I play the first version of AIX on a regular basis. And not only can't I wait until your next release but I also hope that the release brings you guys alot of well deserved success and exposure.

that harrier looks unbelievable and that video was top notch. gonna be loads of fun i can tell already, that map is very nice too

nice, what are thous hellfires doing under its wings? :p

would have liked to see the harrier shoot down the jet (instead of the jet crashing) and kill a little more than a sniper but was still good :)

Heh sorry Rhino, being a fool, I compiled the current build with a bunch of new submitted updates mid way through the video production effectively rendering my demo files useless. duh :laugh:. I had planned to get more footage but ended up working with what i had so I could get back to working on the mod as soon as possible :p

The jet in the vid got shot down btw Rhino :) Them bots are crazy dangerous.

I didn't see any missile get fired by the harrier and saw the other jet flying low near the water so i presumed it crashed into the sea :p

those are mavericks, along with sidewinders and rocket tubes. they can make just as much of a mess as hellfires do, though

btw, in the vid the nozzles aren't shown to move; in-game they rotate to the correct positions. (just one of those battlerecorder quirks)

I had this same problem when doing the DCon Harrier update. Try giving them Networkable Info.
