    Performance hang

I've had a problem with BF2 lately (although I'm not too sure since there was a lengthy gap in between my play sessions) concerning performance. I can get a consistent 40+ fps on maps, but every few seconds it seems like my controls 'stick' and thus makes it virtually unplayable. For example, I'll be going forward and then the controls will hang for a bit, so I'll keep going forward without me pressing the keys, but everything else around me goes on as normal. I've tried adjusting the graphics settings to the lowest possible, but the problem still persists.

    My specs are as follows:
-Intel Pentium M Processor 730 (1.60 GHz) [I've heard this is equivalent to more than 3GHz]
    -1GB ram
    -NVidia GeForce 6800 Go 256mb

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but it's not a keyboard problem. Remember, I said it's "like" the keyboard key is sticking, but that isn't the case. It doesn't happen in any of my other games or when I'm typing. The mouse also stops working during this period.

Ok, it seems that I'm not the only one that has had this problem. These guys seem to have this same annoyance.
