is it just me or are the shadows and the lighting permanently stuck on low/medium? i have them all on high but i swear this is just medium in this build, night and day from the first release and you can tell by how easy it is to see inside buildings, very bright plain looking.

DONT DOWNLOAD THIS DC2 MOD a WASTE TIME PLAING THIS MOD !!!

IM BIG FAN OF DC 1942 and DC2 BUT THIS MOD ITS THE EVER BAD MOD FOR BF2 !!!!

WHY MOD TEAM OF DC2 DONT USE A FLY MODEL FROM BF2 ?
CHOPER FLYING PHISIC MODEL: choper fly like them dont wanna fly, choper fly like BIG PIG.

WHY PLANES AND CHOPERS DONOT HAVE A FLARES ?

when i wanna play a chopers or planes without flares i go play old DC.

Flares????? lol You must not understand whats going on here, and it isnt a language barrier either.

BF2 flying needs to be tweaked for most of us, and this release has great helo and plane physics imo. I saw some apache flying last night that was amazing, and I need to practice hard TBH.

BTW, it was never DC2, its dcon.

BTW part 2, using all caps make many people ignore what your saying, including your rants about eastern european download speeds, and whatever else.

Lets get back on topic, thats enough comic relief.

I hadnt noticed really, but I did notice that the lag was fixed, the new maps are amazing, and the changes are just what was needed. Thanks to the dcon team for the hard work. Between this and POE2, I dont need to buy any new games for a while.

no its not you... I see a flicker of what it appears to be the sun trying to shine through the ground when I face one direction and at a slightly down angle in Close Quarters.... very odd.

please note these issues on the DCON main site for us . It makes it easier for us to keep track of the issues and if they are quick fixes we can include them in the mini-patch if need be.

ohh i agree the lag is pretty much gone but to me it seems like its gone because the dynamic lighting and dynamic shadows were either removed from the mod or turned all the way to low nomatter what the user selcets in the video options of bf2.

i really enjoyed having the eye candy turned on, now i feel like im gaming with 3 year old onboard video. ill have to take some screenshots in the same areas in this build and the old build to compare.

the lag is gone cause we removed the added detail layer on the terrain.. it created 2 atlas files those maps were having to read from..

well done dcon team:salute: ,had a bash last night for a few hours,v0.15 is a massive improvement,it runs as smooth as a bald beaver...lol.

who cares about eye candy in a sandbox style game,its all about gameplay.
