Point of Existence 2 v1.7 Client Released

As promised earlier in the week, the Point of Existence 2 mod team is back today to release the client file for v1.7. Here's what they had to say:

POE is proud to announce the release of our 1.7 client files. After nearly a year of work and literally thousands of hours of art/coding/testing, we are ready to present our second major release on BF2. We would like to thank all of our developers, all of our testers and all of our fans for all of your support over the last several years.

Daarken put together a video showing the F18, F22, Su27 and W3W Sokol in action (or in flames). With the number of major adjustments to our airforces in this release, flyboys should be able to keep themselves busy for some time.

Congratulations on the release guys, I put our server up for it last night and I am downloading the client files now.

I am pretty sure that there are plenty of free download site in the US for this but just in case, I will be hosting them for download on our forums at http://www.clanckw.com/forum/index.php later this afternoon so if you don't have a paid account with one of the major sites you can get them from us fast & free however I have only allocated 5 terabytes for this so it's first come first server once they are available.

Just because I never miss a chance to shamelessly pimp our server to the gamers in the community, I have listed our POE2 server information below.

We are running all the new maps to start and the server is VOIP and Battle Recorder enabled do that you can sit back and watch your skills at work.

The server is also streaming to Punk Buster and screen shots from he server are available to the public at http://69.65.45.213/Demos/ScreenShots/IP213/

Again congrats on the release, I can't wait to check this out.
