The guys over at the Desert Conflict mod have posted up a new update today to let us know they aren't dead. Here's what they had to say:

Not much of an update for all of you...but one nevertheless. RC4 is still being compiled and the crew is trying to get as much stuff stuck in there while the maps are being lightmapped. We've managed to get the arty huds working for vehicles.. So people will be able to call for artillery if they are sitting inside of vehicles. The team is trudging along double checking alot of things. We just got a new tweak file for the planes from BigBoom.. Seems to be promising, but we'll just have to see how the rest of the guys like it.
Now onto a more serious note of sorts. Since we've made our first release the teams general consensus is that we will be going back to our old style of leadership.We've gotten it this far and the team has been taken over once again by the Dept Heads and I will no longer be serving as the Lead persay. This has been a long time in comming and the team is more than capable of discharging the day to day business of the mod. My time is limited right now due to work and numerous other items like buying a new house and all the fun that comes with that, plus my side project has me busy as well. Read more...
