        to quote one source...

Both the C- and D-models had almost disappeared from the European theatre by the summer of 1941, although they were being used extensively on the Russian front and in the Middle East. Production during 1940 had risen to 1,083 machines, but with the impending introduction of the Me 210 only 784 machines were produced in the following year. Production continued at a high rate, however; by 1945 no fewer than 6,150 had been built, ranging from Bf 110As to Gs. As later models became available, the early Bf 110Cs and Ds were transferred to the Middle East and Eastern Front. The 110 also soldered on within the confines of German controlled airspace as a general workhorse, advanced trainer and liaison transport.
I see no reason why these can't be seen on most all of our Eastern Front maps after 1941. Thanks for your comments.

In fact, it's Bf 110C-4. From spring 1941 C-4 start to replace by D-2 and D-3. It's not same aircraft: D-2 have drop tanks under wings, D-3 have longer tail. Last C-4 seen on the East Front in winter 1942, but it's not simple C-4. From summer-fall started rebuilding to C-4/b, with bomb rack under fuselage. All C-4 of I./ZG1 in East Front, for example - C-4/B. "Clear" C-4 used on the North only, JG-77, from summer 1941 to winter 1942. In fact, you can use it for air battles near Murmansk :) Bf 110E also different - they have bomb rack under fuselage from start of production, E-2/Trop and E-3 also have longer tail. Many D-2 and D-3 also converted as a fighter bomber (to D-2/B and D-3/B).

It's main reason why i say "For 1941 maps this aircraft already not useful". In I./ZG1 paintscheme he used as a C-4/B, he is different. LG.1 Bf 110C used from september 1939 to fall 1940, not used on the East Front.

              Thanks for the attention

                Re: BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #34

paint schemes can be changed and you know this, the model itself is very usable on the Eastern Front for the duration of the war. Postman did that scheme because he liked it. We already have the correct schemes for the maps we are going to implement this plane on done.

Don't make an issue out of this as you did the Opel, Taranov, or I will ask that you are banned from commenting on our news posts alltogether. You are not doing anything but trying to discredit our mod, and no one (not even your own teammates) agree with you doing this.

I don't see how it's a discredit to share some research about the timeframe and equipment of a certain vehicle model, you can take note or ignore it...but such a big deal?

Anyways, I requested taranov not post comments about these subjects, happy?

                    Re: BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #34

If Taranov wants to help do research for BGF, or offer research to our team, he can do so in our forums, or over IM's. To do so in a public news post is bad form (I know, I have been accused of this before by doing the exact same thing in your FH news posts). Whether he is right or wrong (in this case, the latter), he has fans believing that we have incorrectly offered them something in our mod that wasn't like that in real life. We sell ourselves as a realism mod, Lobo, you know this because FH2 does, also. To say something we have offered isn't real, you discredit us. And you know this, also, without me having to explain it. The more wrong we are, the more right FH looks...we are in competition with the fans, no matter how the devs see things.

Postman did the textures he did because he likes those designs. Just as Kampfwiesel did the Galland skin for the BF109, because he liked it. These skins are changeable, as you well know, and were no cause for Taranov to go off on a history lesson about the different versions of the aircraft. The model is a C, and the source I quoted says that these were used until the end of the war on the Eastern Front. This is factual (although a bit broad-sworded) and is in no way incorrect. I have multiple sources that affirm this.

I appreciate your intervention in the matter. Let's keep this civil.

                      Re: BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #34

Both Zerstörer i made were the first 2 groups send to russia (refering to my references). I know that they were equipped with later versions during the campaign and the wasp emblem was found in italy at the end.

The Wolf Noseart was a favourite by me, because I had the model from Revell when i was much younger. It was my first model i build^^.

The Wasp emblem was a special wish from one of our Betatesters so i made it and as i said above, my refs said that the ZGschw. was ordered to russia and was very successfull.

i have already done the C/D version. the D3 won´t make it into the mod as well as the dackelbauch. The E/F and G version are done too.

Furthermore i have done the Rüstsätze R1 - R5. They will be presented when the time comes.

If someone has a special wish for a texture and he asked me for it, i do it. I have fun doing them and already did 6 more textures for it.

I don't know you, but we post public news to:

                        1) advertise the mod
                        2) and to get feedback, lot of times people has publicly pointed inacuracies or sugested improvements in our news and we always say thanks, we can agree or not with the feedback but it's never negative or derogatory if it's constructive.

Just an example with a personal screw up of mine, my hurricane had wrong markings, an early war roundel with a late war tail fin, a person pointed it and I had the chance of fix the mistake, I would never flame that person, he helped me to improve stuff. To make such a big deal about feedback just creates artificial dramas between mods, something ALWAYS negative, a person never knows when will need the help of other, so better bridges than egos.

PD: I can understand the postman's point of view, when I fall in love with a plane camo I just do it, and I don't give a damn about some months before or after, keep going Postman!
