Not if you get a good momentum going with a convey driven by all engineers. The rush you feel when coming on a less organized group, chewing them up and spitting out there clean white bones.

There was a nice grouping small group going of 3 Tanks all engi and one spec op got in between them and took them all out with C4 on on blast. I was part of the squat but some air head decided to take off without waiting for the rest of us to get a vehicle and 2 followed, they got up to the first flag to the south of where we were waiting for more tanks (north of Gas Station). All of a sudden you saw all three tanks vanish from the mini map, some cursing over VOIP and 3 killed by with C4 message in the corner.

I like the "Less Lag, More Frag" billboards. There are actually two messages there. The first being the obvious improvement in your own systems response due to NOT having the more graphics intensive scenery to render. This improves FPS. You can check your FPS by typing "renderer.drawfps 1" into your console during gameplay. Try it on different maps to get a feel for what's normal for your system. I'm sure you'll find Tampa Highway to be an improvement.
The second message is the Intel plug that using a Core 2 Duo processor woudl boost your processor response.
Make no mistake, this map has a specific marketing target. Players will want the performance they have on Tampa to transfer to their other favorite maps and through association will try to achieve that by purchasing the Core 2 Duo.

If im a fanboy ill eat my own hair and i promise that!!!!!, ive been to hell and back again with this game and some of its crappy issues, 1.3, stupid patch installer for SF's not to mention J10, server disconnects......... But youre missing my point here, i am truely sick to death of the constant moaning and groaning and "why isint there a picture of my hamster in the game comments", id love all of it to be fixed, its not going to happen, we get a free map, appreciate it, hopefully there'll be a patch, but no need to dis the fact that they released this map

I can appreciate the free map. In no way Im going to raise my hands or even say thank you. You thank people if they are doing something for you, because its you. You dont say thank you to people who are doing something halfas5ed to you for a buck.

I agree, but were competing with the console market, its creating the sh!t load of money, this game is 2 years old, yes EA made a fortune, i never bought the boosters which im quite happy about, ideally it would be like valve and constantly update the engine, but EA being the slow monolith it is, thats not gonna happen either

BF2 is not competing with any title on the console market. It has its own, unchallenged market group right now. Its basically a market leader, and as such, the customer is forced to play this game (or BF2142), without any other alternative. Theres no excuse to justify the obvious milking that takes/took place here.

Boy, Ive been here for a year and then some. I know exactly how much good does moaning and complaining do. At least its entertaining and interesting.

Stilla, I havent played BF2 for months. Why Im here? Heres why. I still feel passionate about the game and I want to play it again. But I cant for reasons following-

*Latest patches screwing up BF2 perfomance up completely
*Random CTDs with latest patches
*Totally played through maps, game boring me out in a matter of minutes
*Unfixed gameplay inbalances, patches through patches

Im waiting for 2 things, either they do something to the game or a new game arises. Im looking at my PC right now and I dont have ANYTHING on it to spend my time with and with DICE/EA grabbing all the money and the market without giving anything in return, it makes my boredom even worse. I feel for the people who cash out for their servers because they literally have to pay for it all not only with their money but with their nerves aswell as all I had to do was a clean uninstall.

Bottomline- I can see no reason why DiCE wouldnt be patching the game and/or releasing new content.

It's as if you believe you are entitled for something if DICE/EA generates profit and market share. For me, I only paid $50 for the game itself, anything more is simply bonus and a gift for me. Even with the current trend where patches and updates are continuously released for almost every popular PC game, I still hold the fact that I didn't pay for these patches/updates but only the game itself.

You need to patch a farked game- a fully functional, satisfying game does not need patches.

As a member of a company whos business is to keep its customers satisfied to I can secure a future market, I wouldnt hesitate to spend my time and money so I could get more of it in return in the future, especially... especially when the customers I serve love to do what I do- play videogames.

Whether it's a "farked" game or not is very subjective. To me, Battlefield 1.00 was indeed "fully functional, satisfying game". At the same time, you can claim that it's not with the same validity and merit. From this, it is extremely difficult to make your belief and mine as a fact in which DICE/EA must act on if they do hold the belief that "farked game = patches must." Even if the game is "farked," EA/DICE is still not bound to provide any more support. As for your experience, them and you are different where their future is not compromised by the disdain of the relatively modest number of customers.

Then there's the question that was asked to you before (I think): Name any one PC game that didn't need any patches or updates because it was already "fully functional, satisfying game."

I apologize if it was already responded to.

With all that said, I appreciate the fact that there could be one more map that will join the list of ranked maps.

Ok so message to DICE:
Yes its nice to see that finally you have sort of gone back to BF2 and so should everyone lets not get into debate im just saying what i think and from what ive seen. BF2 is better than 2142, i said to people dont buy the game BF2 is better....people did and now they agree with me you can see this by the numbers in BF2 more players than ever it seems to me. SO DROP 2142 and continue working on BF2 new patches GIVE US WHAT WE WANT! Common DICE admit it 2142 has flopped from the stats i have infront of me they tell me that currently there are twice more people on BF2 than 2142 and it is normally like this. So dust of your editing and patching tools and do something that will keep the Number 1 Battlefield game going. If not then why not tell us WHY you wont WHY no patches because the only reason i can think of is the money anything else?
