BattleGroup-Frontlines Mod Update #24

The BattleGroup-Frontlines mod team is back today showing off their latest update. Here's what they had to say:
Hello and welcome to another Battlegroup-Frontlines update. Last week you saw the StuG III B´s drivers hud, now you see the whole tank ingame. The Model was done by Robur and with a little help of Koricus the texture from Robur was brought to the right size. The coding work was done by Takiwa.

The StuG will be a formidable support vehicle for advancing infantry and in combination with tanks like the Panzer III and Panzer IV.

For those who prefer driving troops to the battlefields we have the Opel Blitz. The Model was done by Bonehead and the painting was applied by Tha Godfather. The normal maps for the tarp was done by MacX.

Something is not right about that Opel Blitz, either the size of the bed or the slope of the roof..

DoubleVee, check your references before saying something isn´t right.
And trust me, the Opel Blitz is right.

@Taranov

There are many versions available from that Blitz... Each of them is a little bit different. As takiwa said above, the Blitz matches with the blueprints of the type we've got.

example:

good job taranov

now back to the fh forums...

instead of posting a different version i wil quote what i said

check your references before saying something isn´t right.
Next time we will present half visible renders from all sites, with the blueprint in the background to make guys like you shut up.

I am really getting pissed of by those FH fanboys...

If you want to search for errors in models, i will give you a hint were you will find them, it is a panzer 3, but not from our mod

wow.

Postman, Tha Godfather, you guys should know by know how absolutely idiotic the FH fanboys are when it comes to WWII stuff...after all, FH has been shoving incorrect crap down their throats for a while now and they just eat it up :)

Don't take Taranov's comments seriously. He doesn't have the model on his computer, and is basically talking out of his a$$ (like most FH fanboys do). He hasn't seen it lined up with our blueprints (or ANY blueprint for that matter) There were several different versions of the Opel cab, and many variants of the bed, but I guess because we didn't use the one pictured by him in his very lame and weak post above, ours is wrong. We know it's correct with our plans (while he doesn't), and that's all that matters here, certainly not his comments.

Like you said Postman, he can always hold the FH2 Panzer 3 up to the light and find the many errors on it, if he wants something to do besides playing with himself until FH2 comes out.

Don't let them piss you off, Postman. Just laugh at them. It's only the internet.

And Taranov, just so you will make a more educated and less fanboyish post in the future, take a look at this page (http://www.autogallery.org.ru/gopel.htm) and see the many different variants of the Opel...I'm sure you will spot ours there
