seriously htough PR man you wouldnt promise a releasre and then hope that pople forgot that you said it. Remember in chrismas break they said they would release at the end of the week. then nothin came out and what do they have to show for it. similar shots of the c130. i love this mod and that iswhy i wonder why they would even have promised something that they obcviously could never have met.

esisthebest, I don't know where you got your info from, but I am positive NOBODY FROM THIS MOD TEAM EVER PROMISED A RELEASE DATE. I've been following this MOD since BF2 was released and they never posted any info regarding release date.

Will be removing all aspects of the commander from the mod, if so this will be amazing.

Will the planes have a startup time say 10 seconds, or so for engines to start up (hopefully it will as it adds realism) instead of the instant start and go

Also will people be able to walk around in the C-130, load it up with vehicles, infantry, etc. open and close the doors.

If possible it would be nice to have some sort of night map where you can turn the lights on and off for the vehicle while driving

I think that the best part of the preview vid is at the end when the AC-130 is on the ground....now that brings back memories. Gawd, I used to drive that damn thing around the map running over people and crashing into tanks and everything in between. Now those were good times and it looks to me that you have captured it.

i took time when i did the armor for the ac130. i wanted it somewhere between what dc had and something a little more realistic. you can plow through a tank or two and you can also survive a rough landing, but if you nose dive straight into the ground you'll die

So do the repair pads work like in 1942 and the original DC? Looks like good stuff to me.

For the most part. One good thing bf2 lets you do is make a repair object (repair pad in this case) only work for the team that owns the closest control point. most of the repair pads we have are like that. some others (in gazala in particular) are team neutral tho
