Tournaments and ladders for BF2 is the worst to happen to PC gaming yet. Thats why most of the great players from DC and BFV have quit on it long ago.

Its not a sport, lol. Its a "who can find the stupid DICE exploits and practice them the hardest" pile of garbage. I only hope the PC FPS gods brings us a game worth fighting for again.

Look to Frontlines fuel of war to give us back what we have lost. Are you listening DICE?

Yeah, and stop talking about football, baseball and all other sports teams and players cause sports are for fun, not meant to dominate your life.

Some people consider competitive gaming to be as entertaining for them as other things like darts and bowling are for others. To each it's own.

Just tell me what you like best and I'll sh1t on it to see how you feel. Unless your greatest passion is bringing food to orphans in a needy country, your pastime can be considered as stupid as eSports.

My past times are playing Video games with my son, spending quality time with my wife and family, Playing Guitar, and listening to music.

I dont like football, baseball, basketball, or any sports really. I like laying sports games with friends and with my kids, but watching people do it and getting really deep into others playing a game has always seemed silly.

I wasn't trying to SH!t on anything, but I can be really sarcastic without noticing it. Like I said, its just an E-opinion.

How do you define greatness? What standard do you apply to guage a player's greatness if not through competition?

DC and BFV both had scoreboards at the end of each round where a winner and loser was declared, be it a pub, ladder, or league match.

So I guess we're all a bit confused as to how you qualify a "great player" when you insist that it's not through the community standard of competition.

Exploits? You really don't know what the hell you are talking about. BHing is in no way an exploit nor is it the reason these players are playing in the CPL. You simply cannot disregard their skill because of stupid unimportant technicalities that exist in the gameplay of bf2. These players are incredibly tallented and you cannot deny that.

Through my experiences in gaming I have come to learn that "gamers" are not a specific group of people. The people who play in CAL and CPL come from all walks of life, have all sorts of different personalities, strengths, weakness, professions, etc. If you watched the Howies videos on the CPL you could see this very clearly (like compare DEP to Kraven). The truth is that right now it is considered "uncool" to take gaming seriously or let it be a big part of your life. The fact of the matter is that every major sport or hobby has people who commit themselves to it very strongly. How about Tiger Woods? He spent his entire childhood practicing golf. He had very few friends or girls. Is he a loser who needs to get a life? What about Olympic athletes? Is it wrong of them to practice something they love with passion? I believe that people who have something in their life that they love to do and have become good at what they love to do have much more of a life than people who don't do or are not good at anything at all. I know many CAL players who are married. I also know that just because they are good at gaming does not mean they "don't have a life". You need to get over your assumptions and obvious feeling of inferiorty and stop trying to demean them for being better than you.

Your giving him too much credit, he probably doesn't think that much.

Best way to deal with hijackers is to ignore them. He will lose all purpose once you do.
