    Re: Desert Conflict Mod Update

I was referring to the fact that it doesn't appear to have surrounding terrain and the fog doesn't really blend well into the sky.

I'll see about a cockpit view tonight.
A cockpit view, are u serial?!

Also, I don't know if its cause you don't have lighting or not but the sand looks really bright and bland :/

              oooooo...ahhhhh....so pretty...
awesome can't wait till dcon is out, no more crappy vanilla
hope that Hind is a tank buster; been said that a .50 cant even scratch it, but im not sure if the devs took that into consideration
imo i think a nice cockpit would rock.....i got a thing for cool cockpits; gives me that "top gun" kinda feeling (dont blame you if u think im weird)

It definitely does NOT look identical its much lighter and not even close to the tones.

believe me the map looks beautifull ingame, and yes its till a WIP. Once final lightmaps are finished, and a few other touch ups you wont even no the difference

That is the best looking Hind I have seen yet.

I almost dont want to see too many updates. I would rather everything seem like a sudden day of DC, with this engine.

I hope some servers are smart and start with mostly the DC remake maps in the rotation. Even Jalalabad is tired at this point.

The Hind is still a punk rock death from above.

Its still a tank killer as well.

As requested, here's a view from the cockpit. I know it's not impressive. I'm quite sure it'll be worked on in a later release/update. But I still wanted to get it to you since you requested it.

Also, turns out the ScreenShots were from an older revision of El Al. Our mappers had redone the coloring. You'll notice it looks a hell of a lot better. Sorry about that.

Oh, and there's more detail to the map than it looks. Damn draw distance! Or lack there of I should say.

That looks like the El Al Iraqi side to me.

The hind inside looks fine, dont waste any precious time on improving stuff thats already done. Not one mod has ever been saved by a techno cockpit before.

Terrain texture is nice but i dont know if it suits El Alamein.

Looks like a 3dsmax materials terrain texture, how did you do that one?.
