yes just got on P,O,E and tryd out a few kits
looking good ppl think il be playing this for a bit .
was just me and another lad on the sever but still gr8 to see all the new stuff in there .
all in all its a very nice mod well done lads gr8 job
game crashed but thats down to me jumping on before defragging my H,D.
not the mod having probs it runs well and looks gr8 what can i say i love this mod

You're entitled to your opinion of course - but that statement implies that all the modders did was change some player and weapon skins - add a couple of models and maps and called it a day.

That clearly isn't the case. I have to agree with those that say the game does have a totally different feel to it. I wouldn't want to compare it to DC (gasp! blasphemy!) - but all in all a jam up job!

i played PoE2 before on a multiplayer server and it was great, the only thing i dont like is the heli control, it seems too... "flimsy" unlike bf2 where it feels smooth, maybe its just me but im sure ill get used to it.

besides that its a great mod, great vechiles, great weapons, great maps

Its just an anology, I never really thought of BF2 as a ferrari before, more like a rental car, in which you can jump rail road tracks and not care.

I didnt crawl out from under any rock, and I also didnt insult anyone personally. I have written all sorts of praise for the things I like about this MOD. I think the weapons are beautiful, they kill people (which I like). The Stattics are amazing, and the map variety is great. They obviously put a lot of time and focus on this. I have been playing it several nights a week, and I havent gone near BF2 in about 3 months.

I happen to have a different point of view from some people on a few topics, and have every right to voice them. Maybe you would be happy if people would lie just to agree with your point of view, "but homie dont play that". You also have the right to make personal insults every time you disagree with someones thoughts or approach, which you do most of the time.

I happen to think that the game aldo feels like BF2, but much faster paced. I dont like the weapon sounds, but I like the map ambience (especially the wolf in the forest sound). I thought the game was going to feel like a different game somewhow, from all the talk from people on forums.

Im still playing the game, there are hundreds of servers, its very very popular, and The entire team at POE2 seems to remain very professional, as the very small group of us mention our dislikes. For some reason though, you always like to be a jerk on other peoples behalf.

TOO fast paced as told...
Bad textures on some maps...especially interiors
Unfamiliar HElo way of flying....
Could fint "that" better feeling ....

I am staying with vanilla bf2 and waiting the Sherman vs Panzer mod....aka FH2...:)

Flying helicopters in BF2 is way more realistic. In POE2 i think i am flying a car.

I have to admit that music in POE2 is great. Gets you "into" it. Like the great soundtrack of Forgotten hope 1rst realeses. EPIC stuff (until the changed the music in 0.66 or 0.7 ii think)

Somewhat agree with you on the Helo. Although I prefer DC style HELO flying to BF2, so I am not complimenting BF2 by any means.

Totaly disagree with you on the music, makes me want to go to bed, or remix it, or get the weird clicks I hear when I turn up my speakers a bunch. The weapon sounds are better, they sound like BF2 sounds to me, but you can hear them from much further, which is sweeet.

Yes, PoE owns SF. There are 2 or so servers that run ranked PoE(in a way). They're almost always full though.

You mean "LIGHTER" feeling.

The German Attack Chopper was more responsive than the USMC Cobra and felt really good when I flew it. The Assault heli is a little bit of a Bus but that is ok, still a little bit lighter and more agile than the hawk.

The more I play POE with my Clan on ventrillo, the more Im convinced that this mod is what BF2 should have been from the very beginning (Not including the 1.3 problems) Im having too much fun with it to give a damn about rankings.

I think some of you are staying away because there are no ranks to earn or gain in POE.

Download, install and play the game and see for yourself why it is pretty good.
