Awesome release!

This mod really needed those 4 new maps. Brought the whole mod up another level. Everything works great. Congrats to the OPK dev team for another fine release.

Aw, and it turns out the release is just before the 1.4 patch on Tuesday. The patch will probably break OPK...

edit: If you think 80kB/s is bad, try 8. Unless you really do mean kb/s

Seriously..Thats my opinion. I don't care for the mod myself. Anyone else that likes/ wants to play it go for it. I was just posting my comments.

I played Ambush for 2 rounds here's my take...

Pro's

Excellent use of terrain, you can go anywhere on foot and really get around the map with some stealth.

Armor is nice, but not a lot of help against other armor. Took forever to blow up a truck with the AA tank.

Spec Ops gun is off the hook, just a shredder. Loved it.

Cons

Helicopters are way over powered, theres not one kit or Vehc that can take it down with any regularity (At least on this map). I tried using the AA vehc to take one down from close range and barely scratched him even though I over heated my gun twice!! First round I played I died 6 times, all from trying to take down a chopper. I got 21 kills with my gun though so it was ok. Second round was better cause I just avoided the choppers.

CTD's, unlike vBF2 everytime the server changes maps I CTD when I hit join.

Overall a great mod from what I played, just wish every mod didnt have to make airpower so prevalant. Ill be playing more later and give the rest of the maps a go.

love the heli tweaks,now i actually enjoy flying the hind,that thing rulez the skys if you have a decent gunner (like i had today whoever you were).

More rockets for the hind (80) and 19 for the tiger still but the tigers rockets are waaaay more powerful!

Top update opk team keep em comming!!!

Yes the tiger rockets do a lot more damage, but The hind has so many It evens out.

Wow I was really blown away by this mod.. I hope all of the other mods can reach the caliber of quality that OPK has set!

hate to repeat myself, but really the terrains are fu**ing awesome. The ability to foot it just about anyware is just sick and the foliage and tall grass is a stealth players dream. Also the sky and storms sh** is just sick, weather effects and all. To bad you couldnt add a side wind into it, that would complete the illusion. Lovin it, may never play vBF again.

Enough of the accolades though. I noticed on one map, a player with no affiliation. May have been the Out of Reach map. This player had no name or color appearing at all. I followed him around for awhile and never was able to tell who he was or what team he was on. I couldnt kill him either way. Dont know if thats a bug or what. Ill try and get a screen if I see it again.
