LOoks very very nice :) and so short after the great player models! I see you are still in the desert... I wonder when the parts in europe will come

there first release will focus soley on the african campaign, thats why everything is in the desert, more campaigns will come later

hehehe - i think your the only one who can answer that question... as i am pretty sure you will be one of the only ones thinking it looks like a cartoon. So, just out of interest, why does it look like a cartoon to you?

I thought so, too, when it was shown on BF1942files. Now that I've gotten a better look at it, I see why. The panel lines are WAY too dark, and coupled with the oversharpened news pics it gives a cartoonish appearance to what is probably a very good skin, otherwise.

I will give out no more hand jobs to the FH team till I get some in return, lol.

I see the guys point about the lines on the plane. I could absolutely care less, and it will have no impact on my playing this game though, lol.

If it plays half as good as it looks, then that will kick butt. People notice the most insignificant stuff, and ignore all the beauty in the world.

Actually FH2 got a late start. Development on FH2 didn't start full bore until about 2 or 3 months after BF2 was released. Most of the mod team's efforts were spent on releasing Forgotten Hope .7 for BF1942.

The plane looks great, so do the other stuff. I can see how he might think it looks like a cartoon because in the last pic the lines on the plane look abit flat becuase there isn't any light becuase the sun is over there somewhere. So it looks abit like cell-shaded (if you've played that game "XIII" or "Auto Modelista" you'll know what i'm on about) but in the other pics it looks fine so ...well it doesn't really look like a cartoon. lol. Even Gran Turismo at times looks like a cell shaded cartoon. It's just how stuff looks like in certain conditions.

Just one question, how will the radar (for the plane) work in-game? Will it be like a personal UAV or something?

It's the thick blackish lines. You can see the same effect on some of the boxes (or whatever they are) in the flak gun picture. It does look kind of funny, but probably not as noticable ingame.

Radar on the plane??? There were very few planes on ww2 equiped with radar. Most of them were late-war experimental models or night-fighters.
