Fussy buggers. Just download the map pack and enjoy. DON'T sling crap at the poor guy who has spent a lot of time making them. Go and do something for yourself if you think you can then bring it here to brag about if it is worth it.
I'm downloading now. These efforts look more than worth it.
Thanks. I feel better now.
I'm still experiencing CTD's with all maps when joining with my LAN setup:
Server:
Windows XP SP2
Dedicated server 1.3 (downloaded)
Clients:
Windows 2000
Offline BF2 accounts
There is no internet access (or actually, a very restrictive firewall) from the server and clients.
As I understand it, not all maps are 64-multiplayer enabled, so I've tested with max 16 players on the server to no avail. Didn't even bother trying out coop.
I'm guessing spfreak is getting hammered with support requests, so that's why I'm asking here. But my experience is that hardly anyone plays on LAN with offline accounts.
We will be hosting a community event at FraggedNation.com featuring this mappack. Its main purpose is to playtest these maps for possible use in our ladders/tourneys. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend. You may sign up for this event @ http://www.fraggednation.com/events....owEvent&evID=9
Any Advice onhow to run these maps on a Server running Cortex? When I upload them to the server Cortex tells me that the Zip files dont contain maps for this Engine.. I thought these were just Vanilla BF2 Mods....
Hi!
This map pack is really the best one ever on BF2...we decided to run those maps 24/24h on our server...and it is quite full every nights..
The server is in Central Europe...in Belgium exactly...i say that for the ping lovers...
We also have another mirror wich is really fast for european people..you just have to login quickly before(without mailing)...and start download HERE
