Are you refering to USI or Desert Combat in your post Stizzle? AFAIK those are the only two to be released since Dcon is still in development, DC the vehicles were virtually carbon copies and USI the only vehicle that is worse is Hind vs. Apache (the same could be said for DC depending on your play style)...

Nice update guys, looking forward to your mod, although I don't see the custom vegetation in the third pic.

Good to see a stats system that only tracks stats and stays away from that award nonsense!

Stats are ok - awards are what spoils the game ...

I might explain the difference to the *cough* special ppl when I find the time

Wow satcom, I am realy disgusted with your actions. You have shown the maturity factor of a 12 year old spoiled brat. I have seen several of your posts bashing BF2/EA/DICE and PoE. From what I have also seen, you post alot of items that are out of context so people only see your side of the story. I for one am fully behind the hard work that the PoE Devs have been able to get done. The only work I have seen you do is whine.

Note that those brilliant developers had to analyze our stuff first before they could come up with this.

About my work, its not whining.
My work is the most pushed away thing in BF2. - Therefore you dont know it.
TBF2 never posted news, coz they made their own stats. which is eol now :)

POE always pushed me away coz of the thought of 2 POE teammembers, and the 'stats kills gameplay' criteria.

That behaviour, makes people like me as i am today.

Think of this - If they worked ith ABR - This **** was already ready, and they could focus on the modmaking.
Eventually melugo and kmkz could build their nice frame around it, and life was much better.

They chose the hard way. - and the more people bash me, coz of POEstats seems so cool, the more info will come out of my conversations with them the you really know my side of the story.

POE isn't going to have a ranking system. As this update says it will only be a way for POE players to keep track of their statistics.

I never said that POE was going to have a ranking system, just that it wasnt anything I was interested in. It has ruined the game for me, as well as unlocks and buying you weapons with expansion packs.

Yes, it was a misunderstanding but my explaination of this was deleted for some reason (clean-up?). Anyways I too agree that ranks do provide an often bad motive for some as they strive for points instead of fun.

We have replied to you numerous times that we decided not to utilize Alternative Ranking System for our internal reasons and it’s apparent now why we made that decision. There are a lot of talented developers in the modding community and we made a team decision to develop our own system that is independent of BF:2 and that isn't affected by bf2 patches/updates. There are mixed reviews in the community on why people play Battlefield:2 and we are addressing our own personal fans with what we think is a win/win solution for them. Looking at your “rank mod” is what gave us the final decision to continue our development internally as we don’t feel that it fits our goals with our mod. Only times that any of our members might have said anything negative to you has been when you would continue to advertise in our IRC channel and forums when we asked you multiple times not to. Our desire in game development is for the enjoyment of it, participating in attacks like this is definitely not. Even with your comments we wish you the best in your endeavors. Stating that, this is our last statement to you and any more bashing comments by you will go on deaf ears.

from what i saw it was the Ranking that pushed away things not the stats.
Also I visited your site and saw your current post. From what I can tell PoE does thier stats totally different from how ABR does. Wait, ABR = Alternate Battlefield Ranking, and PoEStats = Point of Existence Statistics.
Your really confused. I also need to note that it was explained earlier that the 2 people involved with the PoE stats program was dedicated to only that, and not the developement of the mod. I do not see any of the PoE devs bashing you and ABR here about its stability, lag and security issues.

I personally have great respect for you and your system, as you have taken a great undertaking in creating a global overall stats network between all mods. We, however, are not interested in the system itself right now therefore many of our members are not interested in hearing any discussion

the boys dont like satcom, so they send KMKZ and Melugo out to ABR, so they can see how it works, rebuild it, and show off with work that isnt really original, and far from perfect.

Take ABR, turn of ingame rankups/medals and u have EXACTLY the system u are trying to build.the difference is, our system is intensly tested with large volumes.
And that stats-showing page, is just some php, interfacing with a backend, which can be done in our system too.

So, lets quit the jabbing and describve exactly what does your system have, that we dont?

When someone says no thank you , it means move on . Nothing else needs to be said or explained . A clear answer also does not need to be given as this is a P.O.E. update and not a booohooo update from the underated ABR system .

Yup, no reason to be offended, other mods use your system so why worry about one other, even if it is one of the best :)
