SO yeah , it is about size because theres no way all of my 100 members can be asked to sign up, when some of them arent even stateside, where Joe Blowme with his 3 member clan will have no trouble at all getting the job done.

You want the "word spread" but then you twist the bias against the larger clans that could actually get the job done for ya?<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

We are not selecting clans based on there size or status. This sponsorship program is about what clans will help MyInternetServices.com spread the word. So any clan has a chance. We will announce the start of the program next week. You will be able to fill out the application.

well i think ur supposed to sign up to all 4 coz its ur gonna b tlkin to ur m8s about this kinda stuff and they may b into Quake, 2142, or AA. Therefore if u have have to reg on all three to enter this , they'll hear about it from u, which means they may sign up to these sites. Im guessing its just a way to show if ur clan is really dedicated to gettin sponsored, and boosting the size of their community. I think its a good idea <edited> woops didnt read 2nd page :)

But as RJ said, surely just gettin ur clan to sign onto 4 websites? is it really that easy?:hmm:

all of the clan members have to be registered at all of the sites??? oh common this is extreme we have many part time players we allow so they can have a good home that we only see every few months, Also how are you going to check the ALL the clan's members are registered? if your not going to check why require it? Heck many of our players have no interest in AA or 2142 or Quake and to require them to register at a site they will never visit is a tad taxing. I really like you guys at MIS but would suggest and hope you reconsider these requirements you may alienate your diehard BF2 fans here making them associate in areas of no interest to them...in addition we have members deployed in Iraq we won't hear from for quite awhile...
we are sponsored by a competitor currently on 2 of our 3 servers due to the gameplay we present on our servers and was hoping to represent MIS in a simular manner but these requirements will make it impossible for us to do so. It's not that we don't want to comply but with 50 plus members and 15 or so part time it would be a daughnting task to make sure they all did.

Don't get me wrong we have many members on the TBF2 forums ( they don't all show their =IMO= tags ) and want to support MIS in anyway we can, I am just uncomfortable knowing I can not fullfill the requirements to the letter. ::sigh::;

You guys are missing the whole idea here.

We are not forcing any player to like America's Army or any other game for that matter. We are trying to show your clan members some of the cool things that our company has been working on. If it is to much to ask for some of your clans members to take five minutes out of there playing time to register then don't do it. We are not going to police this part of the application. At the end of the day we want clans that if asked what company to rent from they would say MyInternetServices.com. You can do whatever you want but let me say this, the clans that help us grow are the clans that will get alot of support from my company.

I can see what your saying i have 20 members in BF2 section so its not so bad but you have to remember MIS are giving them out free i would expect us to do something more than register on 4 sites it took me 5 mins.

agreed i'd do anything possible I guess I am just stuck in my military ways about 100% compliance and don't see how I can logistically do this...if I could I would..::sigh::

In the coming days MyInternetServices.com will be posting an application for clan sponsorships. We will be selecting 100 clans, giving them a 32 slot Ranked BattleField 2 server and website hosting. This sponsorship program will run a minimum of six months for each clan. After we receive 50 applications the MyInternetServices.com staff will start choosing a clan a day for 100 days. All the clans that get selected will be announced on the TotalBF2.com website.

Below are some of the requirements for a clan to be chosen. Make sure that your clan has these things prepared.

1. Clans must have at least three members.
2. Your clan must choose a leader. Only the leader will be able to fill out the application.
3. All of your clan members must be registered on the following websites:

a. www.totalbf2.com
b. www.totalbf2142.com
c. www.totalaa.com
d. www.totalquakewars.com

These are some of the requirements. When the application is posted you should make sure that your clan leader reads it thoroughly and makes thoughtful answers. We are looking for good feedback. The better the answers the better your clan’s chances.

We are going out of way to run this program for you guys. Do the math. All we are asking in return are a few simple things. If a free server isnopt worth some of your time then please don't enter. Your clan isn't for us.

so when it says we must all be registered on the "following websites" does that mean at least one or all of them? TBH, Quakewars and AA dont really thrill me much.

We would like you to register at all the sites. This help us "spread the word" about some of the things we are working on. The registeration of all your clan members is what we are asking. If your members don't want to signup we are not going to police it. Just remember the more that your clan does for MyInternetServices.com the better the relationship will be. This isn't going to be the last program that we do.
