Re: 100 Clans to be sponsored by MyInternetServices.com
That's why I found his "Communist" expression so puzzling. Maybe the humor was lost in the translation, eh?
Spetsnaz,
I did not mean to ridicule you or your opinions my friend. I sometimes forget that I don't always have to bring my sharper blades to bear when challenged by another in such discussions. I apologize for any disrespect you may have felt I was offering as it was not so much disrespect as merely strong feelings about the subject matter and a tad too much bravado, expecting multiple posts disagreeing with me as it turned out, happened as documented above.
I never thought of the USSR as communist in nature, and I must bow to your own more personal history involving the political nature of the old empire. I do know that it was ruled by the politboro(all members of the communist party) and that the communist party was the only legal political party in the previous USSR. That would tend to make outsiders draw the conclusion that technically and in all aspects involving government, trade and defense as well as legal issues (both local and federal), the old USSR was a communist country.
No, I would never have assumed that the common man or the common soldier or sailor would shout the joys of communism. The very citizens of that late great union that never realized any benefits from any communist or socialist ideals would avoid calling themselves communist for obvious reasons, I agree.
Thanks for spending the time to answer my posts and regardless of how much we differ in opinion, I truly value your efforts and of course your right to your opinion my friend.
Thanks again.
