ok i dled the hotfix so what do i do now i have win rar but it doesnt have an installer
Just extract the dl, you should have a .zip file called objects_server.zip. Just drag it into the sirmod folder in the bf2 mods directory. When it asks if you want to replace the file, click yes.

sorry to bother you again but i dragged the objects_server.zip into the sirmod folder but it did not ask me if i wanted to replace it did i do it wrong ?

Did you unzip that folder? It should still be zipped, and just put it here:
c/programfiles/EA games/Battlefield 2/mods/SirMod
ok im confused do we uninstall the original one then install 0.4 or do we install it like a patch? which meand no uninstall and wen im don doenloadin it it like doesnt run so i cant install it
i havent done anything to the folder i just dragged from the wrar into the sirmod installer folder in the mods
Then you should be okay, just load up the mod to make sure it works.

Keep the original one, the 0.4 installer will copy over it. Then dl the hotfix and follow the instructions in the text file.
