i tihnk some people are confused. its not just the new map that is infantry only, its all maps as its a new gamemode. the other gamemode isnt ranked

I can't wait to play Infantry only(I hate tanks, apcs, and dumb commander vehicle dropping).

Also please fix the FPS issue.

Buy Armored Fury then, it's focus is 80% armor and 20% aircraft.

All you have to do is look at the popularity of city maps only servers and 24/7 SaK to realize how popular infantry fighting is, I hate Counter Strike but really love the soldier combat in BF2, I don’t even bother with maps like Wake Island because of the Artillery/Planes/Attack Choppers.

There’s no hard-set rule that BF2 has to be about vehicles, if they made an infantry focused booster pack I’d buy it for sure, they need to take out the artillery too while their at it.

Amen! Look at the amount of attention Insurgency Mod is getting. Pure infantry combat and a huge following. We are drooling with anticipation!

If this can be done right, it's a whole new market of players. Actually, not new just untapped. I know quit a few that hate the aircraft and tanks.....multiply that by whatever and there are a lot of people not playing or buying booster shots. It opens up a new world and again, gives people a choice on style of play.

I'd be pumped for an infantry only map! I'm already sick and tired of the spawn camping tanks that I find ruining my fun. There is nothing more morale breaking than being a sniper and seeing a tank and not being able to do anything about it but tell your team.

IMO infantry only is fine by me. No matter what the game mode you play BF2 in, it cannot be compared to CS. I've played both and I don't like cs much at all... so there. On the other hand, BF2 is fine the way it is (minus the bugs). Besides that, if you don't have people armor whoring for points then guess what... they'll just find another way of point whoring. Regardless, someone is going to complain about something, you can't please everyone EA. If you really don't like the game stop playing. The way I see it is if you played it for over 4-6 months you got your moneys worth right there.

The demos don't work as I said on page 6. I loaded them up but they didn't even show up under communities. Something interesting to note is that one of them is a .bf2142demo and not just .bf2demo
