New Patch In The Works?

Well there have been many rumors circulating the net over the past few days about a new patch in the works. Based on what EA had already told us after the release of the 1.3 patch, it was probably assumed that a new patch would be in production. The new rumors about the patch also have it including a new map for BF2 titled "Road To Jalalabad." The players within these test servers running this new map all have names such as "BFTest." The game versions on these test servers are also listed as "1.1.2887-719.0," where as the current 1.3 patch is listed as "1.1.2878-710.0." Even more interestingly noted is the chance a new game mode may be in the works. This rumor spawns from the fact that in these test servers there's an option that states "bf2_infantryonly." I wonder if they are making the new map too keep us playing or something. Who knows, they may have finished the patch already and are just working on the new map. I hope it's not a mec map, but it probably is. It would be cool if they made a China vs MEC map eh?

Well i think this is a sing that EA knows that they ****ed a lot of people with the lateste patch. And they want to make good by it with the lateste patch with a new map and a new game mode. Well i am looking foward to this, no doubt.

OMG bout bloody time we got an infantry map. Anyone can be good in a vehicle but real skill is shown on foot. EA if your listening this map should be free with the new patch considering the last patch stuffed everything. You owe it to us gamers, we pay and we play and it puts your food on the table. But i must say if this is infantry only then this is the best way to repay us. Thanks.

Heh, well like I feared.. the whiners get to NERF BF2, as if nerfing numuerous other things isnt enough.

By nerfing bf2, I mean Infantry only.. come on! This is BF2 Its all about vehicles and the physics involved.. its what made Code Name Ealge and BF1942 so addicting in the first place.. without them its just another game like Counter Hack.

I am always up for something new, especially if its free this time around but the catering to noobs and whiners has to stop!
