I read through comments and what is not clear to me is whether this would be a good pack for me. THe money is obvisouly not an issue so I don't mind dropping the money. Here's the questions - I play maybe a couple hours a week and almost always as ground forces. Everytime I get in vehicles bad things happen. helos and planes are even worse. Given my ineptitude with these machines - is there any point to buying armoured fury?

You should buy SF instead.

Good One! I guess you also won't miss your money either. Or the fact that you can get the same vehicles for free in any of the community run mods, which, by the way, are more effecient in solving any in game problems than the idiots that developed BF2 are.

It's a shame that they spent so much time developing this useless junk when there are so many in game issues that should have been considered FIRST.

1.3 connection problems in AF? fixed? hotfix?

STILLLL no one has mentioned if AF works for those (like myself) who has been having 'connection errors' and is being kicked from every server after about 2 mins of play. is there a hot fix within AF? or if i buy it and i still have connection errors i will never get to play. oh and by the way, thanks EA for not mentioning the 1.3 issues or hotfixes anywhere!!!1 @$$ but other than that the booster looks cool, but cool doesnt keep me connected to a server!

ohhh you are clever with the quips. why dont you go run your SHOP! @$$ how can you call EA quality? sure bf2 rocks....in theory. i have hundreds of hours in there. and no probs with it.....until that is after i installed CRAtch 1.3 not to mention all the previous patching. never heard of such a thing!
now i cant play at all. why would i buy a game if i cant play? CRap ive bought 50$ in the game and i cant play. i need a hot fix? wheres my hot fix?

If this booster pack fix claymores, I'll buy, but intill they make sniper kit for defense and not for quick kills screw them.

Have a cry mate, snipers are hardly affective at the best of times.

Claymores are hardly a big problem, and why on earth would they change it.

If thats your biggest grip about the game you're a asshat.

calm down the 1.3 patch came out like a week ago...there will be a hot fix soon...so stop whining...you've said you put hundreds of playing time into it so clearly bugs shouldn't be a factor by now, because 1.3 isn't that bad...i've been playing it every night since it came out..and it's still playable.

Why do you guys instist on ****ing me off. I said i bought it the first day it came out it came with EA downloader. Just leting everone know that im still in the prosses of trying to get EA to help me install it again. I dont have a CD

Insert CD messages means the installer can't find a file. This happened to me because Norton quartined the Gamespy Arcade installer bundled with SF as spyware. That problem has since been fixed. You can try to redownload, or check your virus scanner to see if it has quartined the file, or contact me directly via PM and I will try to help you out.

downloading it now. I have mixed feelings about these "booster packs".....

1st, Most other games I have played have had "map packs" or other additions that were free of charge. It seems like a lot to keep paying $9.99 (or even more if you buy the retail version) for some new maps and a couple vehicles.

2nd, I will also say...if it totaly kicks ass...ill be very happy I made the investment :p

Ok hands up I admit it. I huffed and puffed and complained about this pack like most others before it was released and claimed I wouldn't get it...however I got it

I like it. It's 6 quid. If you don't want it don't buy it. I can buy a couple of beers and drink them in far less time than I will have playing this or go to the films or buy a pizza. If you would rather do that then no probs do it if not just get the game or just stick the cash in your piggy bank :)
