I read through comments and what is not clear to me is whether this would be a good pack for me. THe money is obvisouly not an issue so I don't mind dropping the money. Here's the questions - I play maybe a couple hours a week and almost always as ground forces. Everytime I get in vehicles bad things happen. helos and planes are even worse. Given my ineptitude with these machines - is there any point to buying armoured fury?

[edit] Derr..after reading more AF stuff i have answered my own question and wasted your time. Time you will never ever be able to get back. Unless you are Superman and can fly backwards faster than the speed of light...there I go again.

Good One! I guess you also won't miss your money either. Or the fact that you can get the same vehicles for free in any of the community run mods, which, by the way, are more effecient in solving any in game problems than the idiots that developed BF2 are.

It's a shame that they spent so much time developing this useless junk when there are so many in game issues that should have been considered FIRST.

Is this game comming out on CD? I bought special forces online. Becuase of that wonderfull patch. I had to uninstall it cuz all the severs was red. And I was not able to install it again cuz it kept asking for disk 1. I dont have a CD.

For anyone who goes to the EA page to buy Armored Fury and you're running x64, MAKE SURE you are doing this using IE and not Firefox.

If you click buy under Firefox, it won't let you continue saying you're not running Windows XP.

If you click buy under Internet Explorer it works fine.

At least for me...Hope that helps some of you other x64 people!

Why do you guys instist on ****ing me off. I said i bought it the first day it came out it came with EA downloader. Just leting everone know that im still in the prosses of trying to get EA to help me install it again. I dont have a CD

Dude, the game is a year old, everything can't be in the original game...there's always been add-on and extensions since the dawn of time, so stop crying and get over it. The original game is big enough already..just get off you lazy a$$ and collect some cans or mow a yard and squeeze $10 from your tight a-hole.

I would buy it. But since Euro Force dissapeared almost without a trace.. ie very few ranked servers for that game in Europe, irony? And the big ones that are available just run Op Smokescreen 24/7!?! wtf...nah.

Also the general instability of my system since 1.3. Has kinda tempered my enthusiasm for these "booster packs".....

Fix 1.3. First Priority, then EA can bleed me for more cash... maybe

Yeah..true, but the simple fact that these maps are on US soil brings the "Red Dawn" factor into this and I can't wait to I get home from work to play this. I've been pushing Dice to release some US maps for the last year..I can't wait until they have big urban battles like in LA, CHI, or NY....You'll see alot more servers for this booster pack than Euro...this pack is already getting more rave reviews than Euro.

Someone needs to make a "Grown Ass Man's" server with both expansions on it, a well thought out map rotation, and FF mines and claymores. Not everyone is a broke teen. If you build they will come...

Wow..that's the best comeback you have?? "I guess you also won't miss your money either." I'm all for community run mods, but the promising community mods are still being worked on and being tweaked so there ain't many good mods out right now except for Project Reality mini mod...hell it usually takes about 2 years after an original game is release for the good mods to come out...so why not spend $10 for some new weapons, maps, and vechiles to buy some time for the good mods to come out.

P.S If you know any good mods out right now...let me know what they are??

If this booster pack fix claymores, I'll buy, but intill they make sniper kit for defense and not for quick kills screw them.

i got the game i payed $$ for it and it say play now on my ea downloader but when go to the server and dubel click on it it say you need to buy the game and i did but it keep saying it
