    Community Update - 6/2/06

As confirmed earlier this morning, the teams behind EA/Dice are looking at all of the issues reported with the latest 1.3 patch as well as reassuring the modding community. Here's what they had to say about it all:
The teams here at DICE and at EA want to take a moment to acknowledge that we are aware of the issues that some are experiencing with the latest release.

We are continuing our work to review and find potential solutions to the problems affecting many players and server admins. We are also reviewing recent changes to servers and gameplay.

While we continue our work internally we want to remind everyone to keep using the EA forums to provide feedback. We review the comments in these and other forums regularly while we consider the direction of Battlefield.

We also want to assure to the mod community that we understand the difficulties you have worked through and we are continuing to look for ways to help everyone and find ways to promote all of the mods and their hard working teams.

As always keep your eyes to this space for all the latest Battlefield News.

    Thank you,
The team at Dice and EA

They always take their time...sometimes too many and it still happens nearly every time.

I agree with u in that they most take their time, meanwhile we all should revert to 1.22, until they sort their cr@p.

ANd they sould test it before relese, (browser bug proves it wasnt tested)
GOD HELP US IF IN BF 2142, IT’S THE SAME DEAL.

Its nice that they mentioned MODs that should make them feel hopefull. I think EA is doing a great job. I know some ppl are having a hard time with the game but all in all it plays great. Actually I never play Vanilla anymore now that USI is out :)

Ive been told their QA testers (A) Just play the game, and dont literally 'bugtrack' and (B) Like to leave exploits in the game for themeselves to take advantage of.

I was told that (B) was especially obvious at the ModDay, with all the EA testers bunnyhopping and dolphin diving like mad, with Ben Smith saying "It's a feature, and we wont be changing it", in a Stealth97 from PBF interview.

                      Its getting very tiring.

I 100% believe you because it makes perfect sense that all these bugs would happen. Also as i mentioned before, some of these bugs are very obvious. and anyone can figure out that somethings wrong

I guess since they finished Armored Fury they were twiddling their thumbs at what to do next and decided to get back to their other job.
