DAMN IT!

It seems like I am all out of UK servers still running 1.22. Been banned from Dustworld for "Teamkilling" (actually for accidentally killing another Power Tripping admin whilst dropping bombs on about 3-4 enemy at spawn point....this leaves we with the Jolt City Maps only server.

So 1.3 it is........unless of course I just put BF2 in the bin once and for all.....have to find some other compulsive addiction to get hooked on....like heroin or crack.

Really and truly, EA should have to answer to the Office of Fair Trading. What other consumer would buy a product from a company and then allow that company to sabotage and break the product you originally bought to encourage you to buy the new one?

UGhhhh....the game just runs soo jittery and laggy with patch 1.3

It is like EA have sneaked into my house at night and switched my X800 Pro for a 9600 AGP.....

Dose anyone get the feeling that EA is reading this thread. And they register to this post and the first post says WOW THIS PATCH IT GREAT. Just to make all of you that is experiencing mucho mondo problemes think we are crazy. That it is not the patch. This is to EA or Dice, who ever is the one who put out this patch, its a realy bad patch. Yeah you f**k up big time. You have alot of peps down grading patchs. And alot of smart ones not touching that patch. If you guys are hoping to get good sales on 2142 this is not the way to go about it. I know someone got fired cuz of this patch. Why do you insist on fixing what is not broken.

Somehow I just dont get the feeling that anyone from EA or the Dice BF2 development team is reading this thread and taking notes. I guess they have their own ways of knowing "what we want".......such as vehicles being dropped on our heads.......not being able to swap squads resulting in a bunch of mates on TS sometimes finding themselves on diff squads due to mi#x ups and not being able to chnage.......oh yes and best of all...we want system crashes....we want lost connections....we want laggy gameplay!

Guys, the refresh button is totally messd up,

I hit the refresh button for my favorite servers, and all my server list disappear,

I require to restart BF2 in order to see them again,

whats going on ???

That happens to me, too, except only some or half disappear, not all. It makes no sense to me since if it were a server communication error, then you'd think that the server--in the Favorites tab--would just turn red, not disappear altogether. <sigh>

i have the same problem. but you have to keep pushing it. or change the settings. not everthing is going to work the first time. you have to mess with it. just dont push it once. you have to keep trying. i mean really dont give up after one try.

ok EA just publish it. and DICE made the game and does the patches. so i would go talk with them.

Hi Everyone.
Until this patch I have not had any probs what so ever. But now, besides loosing my favorite server list, I have connection probs during play. I just hang around in cyber space 4 acouple of mins then I either drop out or I can continue on playing. It realy is a pain.

Leave it to EA\Dice to screw up again. So what is the ratio now 1 to 3. For every 1 thing fixed they screw up 3 others.
