Quit your worthless whining. EA has got your money. You agreed to give them your money. You gave them more money for the expansion. EA says that you are happy and the current management has exceeded its quota. If you werent happy, you would never have given them a penny. EA told DICE to release crap code at 10k a quarter budget. They did it. This last completely untested patch is worse than any they have ever released in their history. Not just in bugs or CTDs, but also in game balance.

Bend over, lube up, shut up, and buy 2142.

I tried. Let me ask you one more thing. Did you use the incremental patch? Well, never mind, you just said you were playin 1.2. I might suggest that if you have to reinstall anyways to get back to 1.2, why not give the full 1.3 a try? Thats the one that seems to be giving people the least trouble. Might be worth a shot.

Tard, why should the average person even need to worry about what patch they have applied unless the programmers are tards also?

EA and Gayspy already know what files are and are not installed on your computer root on up.

Jesus Christ......I have scrolled through a few pages....do you guys freakin cut a paste your comments for every patch release? It is the same thing over and over and over again......you have got almost a year out of this product, use it as a coaster now and stop playing, your lives would be less stressful that way considering how upset you guys get over a video game patch....give up, EA is not going to change anything cause you say they suck donkey b*lls on this forum....



I have the Exact same vid card and this patch is fully operational for me, you may have other problems non EA related...remember for every doofus that post about how messed up their crap is, there are hundreds of people like me who has never had an issue with any patch/expansion/booster

Well lets do the math Ronin581 shall we. I had the game for a 1 year. I patch it about 5 times in that year. and all patches worked. Now the 6 patch (1.3) that i just patch dose not work for me. so let see 1 year + 6 patches -1 patch = Ronin581 dont know what he is talking about. Now that we did the math it is my fault. My fault cuz i did not read the post before downloading this patch. SORRY EA MY BAD.

Definitely your fault, this patch exceeds and meets all EA and DICE quality control. This is their best patch release yet as they care about their customers and have learned about past patches. Just ask them, they will tell you they are sorry if your are inconvenienced and are working hard on it. Just watch, they'll release a bonus patch within 2 weeks (if we're lucky).

well all I don't get it. I get the patch and now I can't even get the game to start. Then I try to reload the patch and it keeps telling me I don't have the previous patch right back to patch 1.12. DOGH. I will try to download the full patch and go from there. I love the game but somtimes it makes me want to start smoking again. If anyone has had same issue and resolved it, please help a brother out

I have read these multiple posts all within 24 hours, and only repeating what EA and fanboys say are our fault. EA could not possibly be at fault. At least 2 people have said so.

I had bad issues with 1.21 that I worked around. But with this latest Egay 1.30 "best in the industry support" patch, I spend more time trying to load the game than play. Spending 2 hours loading a game and only playing (hopefully) an hour is a new standard level for EA.

EA has approved single handedly the noob/pubiness seal approval of not creating/joing a squad with the last patch. Join any server and see if any less than 50% of the people are in a squad. Rank servers are now join the side not getting raped because all flags are turned.

At this point, I think this board is a good place for people to suggest games they like that aren't being constantly ransacked by the company that put it out with new rules, physics, etc. Games they might be looking forward to. BF2 was a nice game for awhile but new things are coming, as the in-game BF2142 ads show. I love ads in my games. But I will get to that in a minute.

Regarding all the complaints, this is one problem that will come with persistent stats, that's for sure. If they changed the helo flight physics in DC, people cried, whatever, but they adjusted to the new game. Here people have invested serious time in getting their unlocks, have 30k global points or way way more, and suddenly they can't play the game the way they liked to. They can't rape spawns with a bomber anymore. A jeep drops on their head. etc.

I've played online shooters for quite a while and I've never seen such a mess, with now 3 patches that elicited screams from the community. Not to fanboy out here, and say what you want about the games this company produces, but id is an example of a company that doesn't treat patches haphhazardly, and who released free goodies with patches like new maps, while fixing problems promptly.

Who knows how quake wars is going to measure up but if their track record in terms of working with the community and patching known problems means a thing, who are you going to pick: EA or id? I have enjoyed BF2 for a while now but I don't have time to battle through another patch. id patches properly and they are responsive. I can't wait to see how that game plays online.:)

Simply put, people would be happy if bugs from release of June 2005 were corrected and the game at least as stable or more.

But EA (Dice) are unable to release a version of BF2 without bugs and will never release a version of BF2 without bugs while claiming how great they are and we should worship them as other fanboys do.

well the only thing i have had with the new patch is. i cant get co-op. i mean i install and reinstall it and the patch. all of the patches as a matter of fact. and i still cant get co-op to work. well thats my only problem. with it right now. besides that. they really didnt fix anything..

p00kypiez you said alot but told me nothing. Im not complaining that the new rules, physics, A jeep drops on my head etc. THE GAME DONT WORK ANYMORE. I cant complain about anything cuz i cant play the game. The patch makes my game crash to the desktop. And i mean that i dont get the intro, or logon. I dubble click on the bf2 icon on my desktop the screen gose blank. then i get my desktop back. The game dose not go on at all. I did not have this problem ever before with any of the other patches. I did nothing wrong the game was working fine an hour ago it took me to download this patch.. but some peps think. Its not the patch thats the problem. go figure. i wish right now i was complaining about the phyics or the new rules at lease ill be playing.......

Well I have owned BF2 and SF since march this year and loved the game.
I patched to 1.3 last night and including download time on my poorly 1MB connection was up and running in 15mins.

I admit thare are a couple of issues with the server browser but it still works and loads fine. And judgung by the thousands of people who seem to be on the servers, it looks like a case of it doesn't work for a few.

Maybe than just getting angry and blaming everybody but yourself, you just talk with each other and try and find a commanality between your systems which may explain why your patch does not work? Download site, patch type, motherboard gfx card etc.

Here's an idea set up a new thread for system specs for people with broken version?? I mnean Jesus it's not hard.

Honestly it's like listening to 12 year olds fighting because one got a Action man and on got an Action Man with a working eyes.
