Give it time I'm sure there will be some. I'll host a temp. server on my cable modem (1 mb/s upload) for 16 players just to see how good the mod is.

played half a map, CTDed on Al whatever, big desert looking map. CTD when I hit join game button, two times in a row...the wait for PRMM .3 continues I guess?

we are sorry about what happened with the release, this mistake will not happen again. This is the first time USI has ever released, and we are bound to make mistakes. The important thing is that it is out, and people can now download it. Please be patient with the servers, i hope people will put up more servers. Thank you for download and enjoy.

If you are crashing to the desktop, try increasing your video settings, i believe some of them have to be set to medium.

Thanks for sticking around. PS you may want to mention to planetbattlefield the link the USI member posted for the download has become invalid, and their file seems to be corrupt.

                  Re: US Intervention v0.1 Released

Didn't really like it. The infantry part of it felt just like regular BF2 style to me.
Now I'm not just saying that to get anyone excited. Today was the first time I've played BF2 again in two patches. So even though I've been gone a long time the style of play is still fresh (though fresh doesn't exactly come close to the feeling I get from it. It's more of a stank, really.)

The gameplay if frantic. Death is frequent. The vehicles, while good, spawn fast. You can't get far on any map without seeing the same vehicle type within a minute.
The modders should play a single player game of Operation Flashpoint to
get a reference of how to tweak those spawns. Take a look at how many infantry you see before you run into vehicles.
Several MEC guns didn't work properly. Now, that may be realistic, heh, but it isn't fun to play that guy.

thats too bad, I cant play on medium settings:hmm:

maybe in .2 you all can try optimizing everything so they run on low settings, good luck with everything.

i dont think all of them have to be on medium, it might just be the terrain one. Give it a try and let me know what works

judging form the server installtionally size size.... exaclty who much content have you borrowing from the default BF2 game? I"m not tryinh to start an all-our war, it give the appearance of 2-3 ne vehicles, a few new maps, and every thing else who just a new paintjob. BF2 TC? hrm... to me is seems alot more like a BF2 Service Pack2. It even one new mode included? It needs to be said, so let me say it, CONQUEST is DEAD, to all mods if you are builing you amod in Conquest, start looking for a new contractor.

are you saying we only did paint jobs? did you actually play the mod? There are tons of NEW vehicles. I would know, i modeled some of them and i put almost all of them ingame. Yes we need new game modes, but at this moment we dont have anyone to do them. SO if anyone out there knows how and wants to help, please stop by our forums.

Agreed with everything except the conquest thing. I like conquest. I dont think new gamemodes are as popular as we would like them to be. They get played for 10 minutes then everyone goes back to conquest. I agree with the stuff about new content though, there really doesnt seem to be 900MB worth.

Its fun to play though. :)
