i can see it now, vodniks on the carrier. Spawn raping. This is gonna suck. Kinda reminds me of when i played GTA Vice city with one of my friends, and there was a tank cheat code. Then, all of a sudden, a tank would fall out of the sky infront of you.

This air-drop thing sounds awesome, since I always wanted to see it in mods such as US:Intervention - I hope it won't delay their first release.

Gulf of Oman, anyone? There are gonna be campers going on the carrier and asking for a tank. Woohoo....*sigh*

why would someone not want it in??? its so friggin usefull for everyone, if u dont like it THEN DONT DO IT!!

anyway i also see the the jeeps being a problem if they can be dropped anywhere, of they have it tought out then it would be very usefull, and CO-OP mode isnt very good, would be alot better if it was CTF.

The lock-on fix is actually although good a bad fix because now all our pilots and AA are just going to continuously shooting with no fear of hitting an enemy but rather getting a kill. Like the towers with the heat at the top of it, you can lock on and shoot and it will lock a enemy in the distance BOOM 2 kills.

The air commander drop ability is balanced. First off it is like the Artillery, the main base has a field which pushes it around it's location rather so they would have to place it in the water so it lands on the carrier. 2 AA's can destroy the jeep before it touches down. Although A great feature it will not be as effective as you think. You can only drop Jeeps.

Air Maps would be very sweet, but rather just one would make everyone happy. First off mostly water with patchs of land, or maybe a few carriers. Since soo many people hate "plane whoring" the plane lovers will want to play this map so if you hate planes then avoid a Air only map. Maybe 2 air maps, one all planes, and one all helo's. I could see the map already....Operation Swift Thunder. 10 Attack helos on each side with 5 transport helos aswell. Madness but fun.

About the squads, The only time I find myself squad hopping is when Im gonna spawn on an enemy base to help cap. I say Take it out though. I want more teamwork! It will slow down carrier raping (not by jets) I found that often there are Carrier squads that just keep spawning making new ones and a never ending supply of reinforcements. The fix will reward people who work in teams rather then work alone. Squad whores ? < lol I can see it now.

All and all im really looking foward to this patch that I heard will look into fixing the red name tag bug for good. Any word on when it is going to be released? Mid May? Early June?

looking at EA's patch history i'd say be prepared for new annoying bugs to pop up, and a new announcement from EA regarding a new 1.31 patch coming soon fixing the existing/new bugs. 1.31 ftw lol..errr or should i say bf2 mods ftw.

Yaaay now people need think even less about what they shoot at now we can throw down claymores, AT mines, and fire missles without ever worrying about hitting frendlies. Do what ever it takes to make the game easier for idiots.
