Good thing Im censored, are you guys seriously tryin to pull this **** off?? Your a pretty classes group, not to mention your absurd lack of security. Unless of course this was a deliberate action to bring yourselfs some added PR, what with your "Were going to E3" crap, nice to know your motivations in dealing with EA are completely selfish. You keep censoring me though, my message is spread far and wide and I have many in my yard to stop you scum sucking noobs from being successfull in your ********.

    DOWN WITH BFROE!!

Well i done some digging on this and it appears to be spam. it seems that most ppl got theses emails, without signing up for bf2s site. I think it must be someone has compromised the bf2 data base, more than likely to draw EA/dice`s attention to this problem of hacking . Do as I have add it spam filter should be the last of it.

        Re: Spam Email a Hoax

I got one on my hotmail account, which I use for the BF2S.com forums and TotalBF2 forums.

I didn't got one on my gmail account which I use for my Battlefield playeraccount, and my EA account.

So what I think that they have hacked one of the 2 sites (maybe even both) to get our e-mail address.

I got one from Admin@bf2s.com but from the writing in it, it doesn't looked like a official e-mail that someone from bf2s.com would write,, just too messy.

I don't really care that I got this spam mail.
I got lot's of spam because you can probably find my e-mail address all over the internet.

I'm glad it didn't contain a trojan or somesort (I hope).
Than I would get concerned, and the next time I get a e-mail I will look better before I will open it.

PS: Please don't attack the TotalBF2 or BF2S staff for this because some hackers can get into any computer they want. And it's not that the BF2S or TotalBF2 staff wanted this to happen..

I got the email too, and the email address it was sent to I've only ever used on this site. So the address was definately harvested from here, whether by a hacker, or from the owners of the site. But it definately came from here... :|

And I'm pretty sure my email isn't visible, so it's not someone just copying and pasting the addresses...

I got 5 e-mails with the encripted code to use in files to hack asap with aimbot on ranked servers. I really wish someone would stop these noobs. It's like terrorism of the gaming world.

I believe it was from signing up on Bf2s for those player stat sigs.
I think you may be on to something here. I tried to get my stats

                  before I recived the e-mails

I never registered on BF2s and still got e-mails. Like I said this is the only BF2 website I am registered on, period.

                      Re: Spam Email a Hoax

This is the only battlefield related site I'm registered on. I have never entered my email into bf2s.com, just my player name to check my stats.

I have a suspicious feeling they got our emails from this site...

FWIW, I also was NOT registered at the BF2S.com forums. I received four (4) of the mails.
