For you guys that think that totalbf2 divulged our emails......I don't think so. I believe it was from signing up on Bf2s for those player stat sigs.

No, I got 4 emails, but I've never signed up (or visited) the BF2s website. I only am registered at a couple mod sites, and Tbf2.

I never signed up at BF2S either.

However, something I just thought of, is that the e-mail address I use here (where I got the spam) is the same one I used to sign up for by BF2 account (in game).

hmm fascinating, so, did anyone who got an EMAIL NOT sign up for bf2s?

EDIT: juststoppingin I am unfamilair with the admin difficulties any chance you could enlighten me? or point me to a web link with all the drama?

ITs odd i would love to know where they got MY email... as a general rule i hide my EMAIL address when i sign up to a forum, to foil the screen scrapers, i assume this is more devious than that... COME TO THINK OF IT, I have never signed up at BF2S either.. just used their stats page...

I got the e-mails to my old address which i forgot to change in my profile here. And it's different than my BF2 Account address.

I got about 8. But on a different email account that I must have signed up to right at the very start of BF2. Only 1 was email readable. The rest consisted of... malake.



It seems to have targeted not only one email account but many others used...
