And a little sub note, Ive not seen a stat padder for an age, would say at least 6 months. Too busy playing the game maybe?

2nd sub note. Ive played PC multiplayers for about 7 years, got a 20 odd thousand Bf2 score a 1.67 KDR (just got my 10000 kill the other day...woot)

To all those that do not understand where the problems lies, not that BFROE.com has anything to do with creating the rules, it is this: A ranked server SHOULD abide by one set of rules, and no server should be different in how they manage their server, under the ranked servers ROE. It should be a defined set of rules, with no ifs and buts, and definitely no chances of an admin interpreting the rules to his/her liking

i.e. I fly over the "un-cap" base because server#1 allowed me to "base rape", yet on server#2 I am not allowed and am either kicked or reported...

Will BFROE be forwarding things such as "mach-stem killed me and 5 friends on Gulf of Oman in a bombing run on the MEC base and I want him punished for it since the server rules specifically says (on the website) that "base raping" is not allowed.

This what I am confused about. You say you are taking requests on people breaking the rules, but the rules are not defined as one set of rules for each and every server. Will you be reviewing the server's specific "policies" and judge them this way? Will you only be taking complaints on stat padding? How will you consider sorting out truth from fiction when a hacker could just be someone that's really good at using their UAV?

Simple questions that need simple answers. No flaming required by any community member.

Think about it this way, EA & DICE have a certain amount of criteria they need in order to wipe someones stats or shut down a server.

We send them information to review and they make a decision. Sayin something like, "Please EA, we know its true.. we really really do" will not work. They treat our reports like they treat any reports sent in by the public.

The difference is that we organize those reports in a neat way for them to look at and allow the BF2 community to easily submit a report. Other times, there are cheaters, stat padders or simple violators that are valid ... but the victim does not submit enough information (no screenshots, for instance). It is then our job to investigate and collect any evidence that pertains to the potential violator. Which essentially makes your lives easier.

Along with others I complained earlier about this being a "snitch system". After reading this it seems as though this is really a more organized attempt to get reports properly ready to be investigated by ea. I see an issue though. An unproperly documented report without proof or A report that is given with all the necessary information and proof really doesnt need this system because after all of the investigating and collection of evidence you guys do it ultimately goes to EA. Just like it did before BFROE.com . I hope you are getting paid and not volunteering your time because you look like unneccessary middle men when at the end of the day everything lands at EA's feet just like it did before BFROE.com

So, essentially you gather all the claims, sort them out into groups, evaluate which are false and which are true, and then forward them to EA. Tell me, how long does said process take?

I mean, I've made formal complaints on the NBK clan for unjustly kicking/banning people simply because they cannot handle public members whooping them (not all of them, mind you) and I've yet to see anything change, whether the server rules or whether the admins responsible are dealt with.

I don't normally make formal complaints because I could care less about the points system. What do I care if Joe-Blow has 16million points? As long as I have my unlocks, and I can see how well I do on certain maps, weapons, vehicles, etc.

I can see how some of you DO mind, and agree that this system is great in that respect, but I find most of the abuse that rarely receives "punishment" is within the servers and their admins, not the public members looking to exploit the system to gain points.

So how is it BFROE knows my email address? MYIS seems to be pretty good at defending certain sites and groups these days for vested interests.

To make it clear...

We never have and never will give out any information about our users to anyone, no if's and's or but's. We're huge advocates of users experience (which is why totalbf2 and every site that we operate only has a couple small ads that do not get in the way of the visitors browsing). You'll never see a single popup on any MyIS run sites ... ever. We browse the net just as much as you guys and we believe that a company can be more than successfull without resorting to cheap and underhanded tactics like shoving advertisement down the user's throat by throwing popups, selling user info and making sites 80% riddles with ads.

When you go to BFROE, you do not 'sign up', you simply report the player and move on. Reporting a player is 3 very simple steps (report, confirm email, confirm report). There are 2 reasons why we ask for an email address:

1) An email is the only way to identify a user and prevent spamming. Every email address is considered a unique user and must be verified for every submission.

2) If action is taken against a report that you have submitted, you will be notified with a thank you email. By 'action', I mean a report to EA. Since we have no control over who gets wiped and who does not, all we can do is assure you that your report was forwarded to the powers that be.

The only way your email was pre-filled in the form was because a cookie was set remember your email address and nickname when you made a submission once. This is done for your convenience so that you do not have enter your information over and over again. You can clear your cookies and it will not be there anymore (if you use firefox, you can clear cookies based on the domain, so search for bfroe.com and hit delete).

Sounds like BFROE is an official EA response team to 'padders', 'cheaters', and such. EA has done next to nothing to support the BF2 community on an individual level and it seems websites claiming wipe powers are popping up. I should be concerned about repercussions on my BF2 account correct? Or is the BFROE just like any other public submission and not official? (has anyone found a public submission for EA regarding BF2 accounts at any level?) Can BFROE or non BF users submit requests for TKers or any violations to be wiped?

BF2ROE can form a niche as a website and people will use it at some level no matter what opinion I form. I'm willing to read/browse around if I werent forced to become a member.

The ROE will be available publicly in the next few days. We're working fast to get everything up and running and the ROE is being re-beautified to be easy to read for the average player who doesn't want to like to read contract-like things.

Read some of the above posts, they are really informative regarding this issue. We do not wipe anyone's stats and no stats are wiped on our behalf. In other words, if your stats get wiped the people to contact are EA, not us. We only provide the information. EA and DICE have said many times that they handle reports sent to them on an individual basis and very carefully.

I tried using your site for 2 stat padders I caught the other night..
Got screenshot and other links to forums where they are being reported
