    Indian,

Cant handle the truth it would seem! Well my assumptions are correct this system will be abused and the real problems wont be addressed and they will further stone wall the players with empty promises as it relates to the so called new releases. How pathetic!

      The ROE are good.

But there are 2 that just doesn't seem right:
§"Using the Transport Helicopters to take flags"
I don't even know why a admin could use this rule.

And it sounds against your own rule: §1.5 "Kicking Players who use vehicles or aircraft" because why else would you use the Transport Helicopter except for taking your team from flag to flag (troop transport).
Or do we have to take our team to the other side of the map to take a flag,, because they won't get out of the helicopter if you will try. Or they will shoot you....

So when a admin kicks you because you use a Transport Helicopter to take flags, he kicks you because you are using a vehicle to take flags.
So he is right and wrong at the same time?

      And the second rule is
§"Using C4 on jeeps, or other fast moving vehicles to take out other vehicles."
I never used it myself but I don't care if anyone else uses it.
It's a tactic to destroy the enemy tank, and if the enemy is good enough (skilled) he can shoot him down before it comes close.

It even gives the game more action because it feels good when I take out that jeep before it hits me.

And thats how I think about it, the rest of the rules seems alright for me.

We cannot answer your question, because we did not write the ROE. This a question that is best directed towards EA & DICE. The ROE is written by EA & DICE becasue it is their ranking system, not ours. Therefore, claiming that this is our ROE is incorrect.

Yeah, sure! In reading the entire BS it is what iam reading and how iam understanding it. Also, it is nothing more than policing the game and taking the real problems away with new so called technology to help the BF2 Series. I dont see it, i see it has i would a government agency, more of nothing but distractions from the real issues at hand failures of EA/DICE to address the real problems with a game that was released half a$$. With the continued disregard for those that like the game and only want EA/DICE to get off there A$$ and do there job but that isn’t going to happen. They are more concerned with the next game 2142, in the hopes that the b!tch about the gaming and its flaws will go away with this announcement. Hell, look at the failure of what EF has become in the BF2Series? You people simply don’t get it, never will until you stop using old talking points that are created to debunk those that understand what is really going on with endless empty promises and releases of nothing.

Naw, Did I say anything about myself having problems, nope? I dont have many of the problems as other do in game. Iam just pointing out the obvious that you all dont see or refuse to see or making excuses for you handlers! Do you get those Talking Points first thing in the morning? It must be hard to tow the line at all cost even when someone like myself criticizes for those that dont understand or are afraid to.

But what do we have to do with that? We're not the developers of BF2. We have no control over what EA chooses to do. Personally, I love BF2 from top to bottom but I understand that everyone has difference in tastes about the game. Though the question still stands ... how does your distaste for the game have anything to do with us?

Regarding the game itself, all I will say is that [MyIS]Crrrazzzy has been gaming for a decade or so (I think more, even). I have been gaming (competively, casualy -- but always part of a community) for about 6 years. All of the MyIS staff has been gaming for a very long time.

If you can point me in the direction of a game that did not have bugs or any problems what-so-ever, I will gladly snatch it up. The reality is, you won't, because games are never perfect. BF2 has thousands upon thousands of players that happily enjoy the game because that's what they see it as .. just a game.

For us, it's pretty much our life. We love the industry and we love the community, so we always try expand in uncharted waters to make everyones experience better.

The reason we seem so defensive in this thread is only due to the fact that it seems people are taking their 'hatred' of EA or DICE and throwing it all in our direction.

Now that was a fair response which ill give you, i do realize that there are many games out there that are buggy though it would seem that its one thing after another with patch after patch. When is this going to end, many people complain and many dont because they simply dont because they realize that nothing is going to be done and they love the game as i do. Iam not someone that plays all the time, i play in my free time and i dont work in the industry. I work for a large defense contractor, and iam working on my Masters degree in National Security. Besides that i see allot of complains from all ends and EA/DICE just doesn’t seem to really care, then they come out with news of another game based on BF2, which they are entitled to do so and iam not saying it might not be cool. Though i just dont see it has a smart move, when Euro Forces doesn’t seem to be doing what they expected and we have Armored Fury coming out and no support for Special Forces, which i love and its sucks they aren’t doing anything or say that cant do anything about the merging of the two. Like i said i love the game, it is my time away from BS of work and studying and my family. Hell, iam only 31 and i have climbed the Corp ladder rather fast and many cant say that, so i kind of have an ego and i am just tired of seeing the community really being ignored! Perhaps iam wrong for attacking you guys and I apologies for that though you are there and people like myself are going to go after those that have it would seem some say or a voice to express to those that aren’t here.

Re: BFROE.com open to report ROE violations

                        Frankly this is my opinion.

Would this system be much more fair if it were the server buyers decision to follow these rules or not and surly it should be these people policing the rules.

And besides this should have been introduced when the core statpadders were at it (back in the day)

and finally put your hand up if you made sense of the EULA in the first place (or just skipped it) as one thing can be interpretated into many.

Its a great idea I guess just a little too late plus its sounds extremely exploitable

Re: BFROE.com open to report ROE violations

I read through all the posts and see several had negative things to say. I really dont understand why they do. If you dont stat pad or violate the rules, and never run across someone who does, how is this even going to affect you? So whats the complaint, with these guys? I dont get it.
A lot of the misinformed members who posted here think this is like the SS or something. In my opinion its just a form of quality control, long over due I might add, to ensure that when in game all you have to do is play the game. Not have to worry will I be able to get the best round score as Engineer (or whatever class) because that guy over there is padding all round and Im not. Or worse can I alert the server admin or if I do will they insult me and Ban me from my favorite server. (there is a thread about this right now)
The Myis guys are right the padders are stealing from all of us and the real tragedy is not saying anything about it. Im not talking about the guy who killed you last week and had to be cheating to do that. Im talking about the blatent ones. ie. the guy with his Humvee parked in the water doing repair or the guys who try and get you in the old knife and revive or the server that has 4 players on the oposite team who never score or get killed. Use your head, If theres a doubt then probably nothing will happen. If theres no doubt then it should be reported.
The short version of all this is that we needed this from the begining and I see it as a big step in the right direction. Thank You MYIS and crew. Throw the Bums out, I want my game back. . . . . . .Red

What I see, after 1 day mind you, 302players reported, 129servers reported. 129 Servers in one day??? Theres 302 hackers out there today that some one caught?? Imagine after 7 days....thats 2114 players a week, 903 servers. A month = 3612 servers. No, no chance of it being abused.

Welcome to the future, never thought that the "man" would get in from this angle.

Oh yeah, I been playin the BF series competitivly as well as for the fun of it since the Demo for Wake42, just like you guys. How come I dont get to be a cop???

LOL at all the above internet big willie contest.

And a little sub note, Ive not seen a stat padder for an age, would say at least 6 months. Too busy playing the game maybe?

2nd sub note. Ive played PC multiplayers for about 7 years, got a 20 odd thousand Bf2 score a 1.67 KDR (just got my 10000 kill the other day...woot)
Does this mean I have a big willie? Chortle
